Vector Sigma Site Password

Thanks to site reader Lorenzo P., the password for the Vector-Sigma.org site has been discovered. The site was discovered as a result of the new Sector 7 password where one of the harddrives contained a screenshot of the site.

The password is MEGAMAN and the site is case sensitive. Or you can click here or here for direct access. The difference is screen size dimensions.

Megaman is not a reference to the blue-domed character from the Capcom games but the "human" reference to Megatron that Sector 7 currently posseses in frozen storage at Hoover Dam. As the screenshot shows, the site mimics the Sector 7 view but apparently is the desktop of "Agent X".

Starting from the top-left, have two harddrives. The red-striped one is for "Intercepted Documents" such as the story of Agent FWIFFO and the animated Transformers being used to hide the real existence of the them. It also has the weeks 1, 3-7 of the Stop Sector Seven podcasts. The second black harddrive is the "Hidden" TV trailer.

Along the top-middle are three image placeholders, only one active. The active one is showing a monitor or computer screen and not much else. Almost the same image as the BYBYEPOWERS S7 surviellence video had. Top-right is two more hard drives. The first isn't accessible, the second can be moved around the screen, not sure why. If using the small version of the site, it might be laid out so red strip on the left, all 3 black harddrives on the right. Information within is the same.

Along the bottom are the 4 Zelda (from Ocarina of Time I think) and yield symbols. The triforce is satellite footage of Hoover Dam where Megatron is located. The second symbol is a recording of Optimus Prime, from the Make Prime Speak contest, saying "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." Middle symbol currently does nothing.

The biohazard type symbol is email. Currently the email is a threat from S7 leader Agent Simmons, question from Agent TC about the symbols (answer above), and one from Fwiffo. The last symbol, the yield, currently does nothing. Hopefully a video will pop up there soon.

So first Sector Seven.org (CODEBLACK), now Vector-Sigma.org (MEGAMAN).

Update: Based on the info from the comments and confirmed by comments elsewhere turns out vector-sigma.org is a fan creation. A very well done fan creation, but not official part of the viral Sector 7 campaign for the movie. Shame though, very good idea of some potential there.

  1. In case you didnt read this in the previous thread that said vector sigma was the computer on the Ark...

Vector-sigma wasnt the computer on the Ark. The name of the computer on the Ark was Teletran 1. Vector Sigma was on Cybertron...the key to which..in G1, activated vector sigma to give sentience to new transformers, such as Megatron did with the Stunticons. In Beast Wars, which carries on from the storyline of G1, the key has different properties, changing the organic to the inorganic on Cybertron once Megatron and the Maximals make it back...but to correct..Vector Sigma was NOT the computer of the Ark. It was Teletran 1

  3. All the S7 Passwords up to byebyepowers have been deactivated, so whoever's computer we first saw (Agent Fwiffo's?) is now "offline".

Also, Fwiffo's fax on V-S was sent from a +44 country - the UK. Just an interesting piece of info for people following this campaign.

  7. http://www.donmurphy.net/board/showthread.php?t=19289

Master_Fwiffo speaks about his creation, www.vector-sigma.org

It took me a few minutes to find, but I remembered that some fans from DonMurphy.net had something to do with the site...

The Vector-Sigma site was created rather early on by a group of fans from DonMurphy.net (Master_fwiffo) to gather files & info from the Sectorseven.org site. It shares a similar flash-based design, but hasn't been updated in quite a while.

The site has not been officially connected to the ARG before like sectoreven.org, buzznet.com/groups/stopsectorseven, & ebucehtdnif.ws are, but was linked by S7 as another example of 'Annoyances'... albeit as a bit dated example.

  8. I know this has nothing to do with this entry's topic...but how come I suddenly saw a new member of the Decepticon added in the Transformers Live wikipedia page? Brawl seems to be the 8th (new?) Decepticon, alt-mode being a tank. Whoah. Like Decepticons haven't had enough members already, LOL.

  9. brawl has always been in the line-up you nugget!

ever since the characters were announced way back last year brawl has been on the roster. granted his name may have changed a few times, i.e. devastator, etc... but the decepticons were always scheduled t have a tank in their ranks... whether it be brawl or devastatot.

there were even some rumours that the tank ppl had seen images of early doors was to be megatron, in a homage to the G2 and armada megatron... thank god thats not how it turned out!

to clear any confusion (if any!!!), bots are:

    autobots (5)
    prime
    bumblebee
    jazz
    ironhide
    ratchet

    decepticons (8; well, 6 + 2 minions)
    megatron
    starscream
    blackout
    barricade
    brawl
    bonecrusher
    (skorponok)
    (frenzy)

i've known all along that those decepticons listed were gonna be in the movie... but i've only ever counted 7 'cons. wonder why that is.

strange how i only came to 7 yet knew all bout all EIGHT of them... oh well nevermind

  11. funny how the first alt mode we saw images of was the tank (brawl)... yet the last transformered robot we see cgi images (yet to see!!) of is brawl (disregarding ratchet). i wonder why this is... anyone any clues/ideas? or even better... shots of brawl (or ratchet)??

    please, no toy pics

  12. I've been trying to access the vector-sigma.org site but have been unable to do so. Takes forever to load just half the page on a high speed connect.
