According to HDAddicts.com, the street date for the Transformers DVD may be October 16, 2007 a full month earlier then I anticapated. If true, thats quite a fast turnaround for a movie that is still in theateres about to pop on the IMAX at the end of September. I was thinking they where shooting for November to give time for it to leave theatres yet still get it out in time for Christmas sales. Amazon, usually one of the first places to post release dates doesn't have one for the movie. For now I categorize this as rumor until more information presents itself.

I think it totally make sense since it's toy movie. Gotta sell them toys. Can't just wait til the movie come out 9 months later and then start selling toys again.
