Jazz Returns for Sequel?

Could Jazz, the Transformers ripped in half and declared dead by Ratchet, return? That is suggested in an article on BlackAmericaWeb.com with Darious McCrary who voiced Jazz.
Last summer, McCrary starred as Autobot Jazz in the 4th of July blockbuster "Transformers" and is currently in talks to return for the sequel.

"That was something I grew up watching, so to be a part of that was exciting," said McCrary.

McCrary says he was honored to be chosen as the first voice actor to take over the role of Jazz since the original voice, venerable actor Scatman Crothers, died in 1986.

"It was kind of cool because -- I know this may sound crazy -- when I was actually filming, I really did feel Scatman's presence," he said.
I suspect its more a bit of miscommunication. Not because I wouldn't mind the return of Jazz but with all the characters that are available to tap, why bother wasting story time to bring the character back. (source)

  1. I hope they make TF2 like the 1986 one... lots of death... lots of destruction on both sides.

Decepticons ruthlessness and how they will get there mission done, no matter what

and the autobots willingness to sacrifice themselves to save other autobots, or humans

allows for alot of good to the death type battles! :D

hope they bring in Ultra Mangus and hod rod just so they can kill them

Everyones all crying about Jazz dying...

what about all the decepticons that died?!?! you fools,

I'm morning Bonecrusher, Blackout, frenzy, and megatron...

if anything, not enough autbots died... it takes at least 3 autobots to take out 1 decepticon, plus they had megatron,

    yet they only killed jazz?

    wtf

  2. But think about it, that Autobots had the Humans on their side, and guess what they had, guns, lots and lots of guns, including grenade launcers.
And Jazz only got ripped in half because he was way smaller and weaker than Megatron, i mean, look at the size difference.
