Megan Fox Final Day at Princeton

The Prox Blog has posted a picture from the final day of filming that shows Megan Fox getting kissed by Shia as they film a scene for Transformers 2. The red bike is the same one this blog reported about, an Aprilia RS125 or RS50. Considering she was at one point filmed arriving on campus in a taxi, it’s curious to know how she ended up having a motorcycle. Thanks to Ann for the links.

In related Megan news, the Movie Insider shares the story of how Cameron Busacca managed to score the holy grail for movie shoot gawkers - a picture with Megan Fox. Thanks to Jeany for the link.
After about an hour of watching the crew unload equipment, Shia LaBeouf came on set around 8 a.m. to film what appeared to be a "move-in" day scene right next to the Princeton University Chapel. After several takes, the crew moved out onto the street to shoot a few stunt scenes on Washington Street. Most of the cars looked brand new (there was no futuristic Chevy Camaro in sight, which was a bummer) but after a few takes, one of the cars had bullet holes and a smashed windshield, which led me to believe they were filming a chase scene. Shia's stunt double nearly got hit several times by another car, and the crew shot the scene from different angles up and down Washington as if all of the shots were going to be pieced together later. And even though the stunt drivers went really fast, you could tell that they speed it up even more in the editing process.

After the first stunt was over, we saw our first sighting of Megan Fox. They were getting a shot of her driving from inside the car but she lost control and slammed it into a curb. Don’t worry, she’s perfectly fine. She got out of the car smiling and laughing and walked it off. Shia, on the other hand, hadn’t stopped chain smoking since the end of the first scene and every time they broke from filming he seemed to have a really bad attitude.

When the stunts got wilder the crowd was forced into nearby buildings where we got to watch from the second story. As we were leaving we were hoping we would be able to see Megan Fox again through a window or something, but we were even luckier, -- when we got to the end of the hall, Megan was chilling at a snack table.

Shia had turned us down when we asked for a picture earlier, but after seeing Megan take a picture with another fortunate group of guys, we walked up to her. Her people immediately shot down the request, but she very graciously and kindly agreed to take one more. We took a picture with her and proceeded to ask her a few questions about the movie. Shia was also there but added nothing to the conversation.

The crew is going to be shooting for another two days in Princeton. All in all, a really, really cool experience.

  2. What do you wanna bet that pic of the motorcycle scene is from the end of the movie and now Arcee is now Mikela's new bot/watcher/transportation just like BumbleBee is for Sam.

Something like that. I'd say that this scene is a precursor to what many fans (especially ME) have been waiting for: Megan Fox soaring down the streets on the real Arcee cycle. :)

  4. Could also be when we FIRST see Arcee and it's a "getaway" vehicle after some Decepticons ravage the school (pun intended). And Mikela doesn't yet know it's a transformer but it was in a convenient location for her.

Side note, I wonder how many packs a day Shia goes through.

  5. I still think it is from the end. Based on a couple of things.

We know she first arrives by taxi. We know she has no money for college, where she get it for the motorcycle.

She is bringing him to class in which he gives her a kiss. Doesn't sound like he or her are being chased by robots. This sounds like a movie that ends happily basically where it begins.

  6. Also we know they escape the school with Leo and he has been with them for much of the filming so far. Doesn't look like there is room for 3 on that bike.

Also again the kiss is indicative of calmness not of chaos and being chased.

  8. How come all the guys working behind the scenes always look like they're so depressed. The only guy smiling is Bay cause Megan Fox is in a hot position. You'd think they'd be smiling too at that shot. They must be interns or getting paid next to nothing.

  11. I really want to think Shia isn't a jerk, but all the comments are making me think otherwise.
But I know you can't really judge anything until you experience them personally, I've only seen him at the shoot, and never talked to him so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

They probably look serious 'cause they're focused on...working? And those people...grips, gaffers, etc...get paid GOOD money thanks to being members of unions such as IATSE. Hell, one grip I talked to back when I was working at Paramount Studios said the grip union even had their own choice of hospitals to go to if there was an emergency...or something like that. But they do have to pay a hefty monthly fee (in the four-figure amount) to continue being a union member.

Bay is smiling 'cause he's in the position to make The Foxy One do such sexy poses like that. Oh the beauty of being a director... ;)

Shia is definitely not a jerk. Took my pre-teen daughter to Princeton on Wed and waited 4 hours outside of filming. He came out after and signed tons of autographs. He didn't allow pictures, but was very nice to fans. He spoke directly to my daughter for a few seconds and she didn't care about the pictures. Just said it was the best day of her life (real big Shia fan)- so thanks Shia for being so nice! He seemed very nice to the rest of the fans, too. They all seemed to be younger-kids 16 and under.
