DreamWorks Productions will be filming scenes for the upcoming movie “Transformers 2″ on Penn’s campus this week. The filming will take place in the Quad and both inside and outside the Psi Upsilon (Castle) fraternity on Locust Walk. Both Penn and DreamWorks staff will be on hand to help guide people around the area during filming in an effort to minimize any inconvenience.
Setup, filming, and set deconstruction are scheduled for the Quad from June 10 through June 12 and for the Castle fraternity from June 10 through June 15.

ReplyDeleteI watched the setup at the castle for a while today, and might go back tonight. They have covered the mini "love" statue out front with camouflage and have brought in some trees and greenery. (probably meaning he DOES NOT go to Penn)
ReplyDeleteThey had a lot of carts with lights set up in front, ready to be moved in, i assume. They have made a tent over the entire front of the building and have blacked out a lot of the windows
im not sure if they are filming now, tonight, tomorrow or what, but i plan on going down and getting some pics later
They were filming today and I heard they are going to be there tonight. I think they are going to be in Philly until sunday. I did get some pics of the set and Michael Bay but not of SHia :(( even though he was there). Megan was not there though.
