A description of the game being developed to be released with Transformers 2 was leaked yesterday. In light of Orci's "yes"about transforming weapons could this line, "A new Transformation system gives you more detailed control as you instantly switch between Robot, Weapon, and Vehicle modes at any time...", be what he was referring to? What is a weapon mode and is it something that is being introduced in the movie or just limited to the game?Thanks to Carl for the links.

ReplyDeletemy fist is a weapon. weapon is such a vague term, for crying out loud.
Weapon mode sounds to me like an arm transformed into a gun (Bumblebee, Optimus, Megatron, etc.). In fact, they all had weapons transform out of their respective body parts.

Robot mode: simple, nothing fancy, robot walkie talkie.
Weapon mode: shoulder missiles, arm cannon, head shield
Vehicle: Camaro
I'm curious as to how the Online Multiplayer is gonna be like.

ReplyDeleteI agree wth one of the previous comments made. Weapon mode sounds like a some sort of detailed targeting mode that features the weapons already equipped an the robots. Otherwise what would they transform into? Megatron and Shockwave are the only ones that I know of that actually transformed into weapons...I can't see all of the robots all of a sudden having that capability
