GM Revels Official Production Pics of Volt
In a probably response to the leaked videos (or here) and pictures of the Chevy Volt from the Transformers set, General Motors has released official pictures of the 2011 Chevy Volt. They also noted that the earliest the vehicles will be available to customers is 2010. Below are two pictures and the rest are here. Sadly all of them do have some GM big wig standing in the way. Despite comments from a GM spokesman, I don't see an external different between the production version and the TF version.

It would be nice if that dude would get out of the way.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha, The response to the video/pictures was just a brief denial.
Someone at GM decided to say "screw it, they already saw the car, just show em some pictures"
I think it looks nice, nicer colors and wheels would make this car a hot ticket! (like the one in the movie)
have any of you seen these two fake trailers? there very good. really got me excited. you should check them out.

body styling is not as aggressive as I thought it would be. I seriously hope the TF really do destroy a 4 door soccer mom sedan.
ReplyDeleteI kinda figured they'd go with the more conservative styling approach as most concepts are all about show and glitz, but the reality is that the general consumer isn't so much about show and glitz, they want a true machine that stands for what it is; in this case, Volt is about saving energy and establishing safety and roomy comfort for all. They want an answer to the EV1 predecessor. Yes, reality is a pity, but you know, at least the 2010 Camaro kept up most of it's bargain. :)
ReplyDeleteI do agree however that with purple/blue gradient paint, a bit more chrome polish, a nice set of glossy wheels, and maybe a spoiler, this staid boring commuter car could be a snazzy hip chick-mobile. :)
I don't really like the babe presenting the car... She reminds me my baker... Am I normal ?! ;)
ReplyDeletewow the concept was way better, even a prius looks better
