Rollbar In Package Pictures
Below are new pictures of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Legends class Rollbar from TF08.net. At least it verified the rumored name for the toy. Not really much more to say since I doubt this character is one that makes an appearance in the upcoming sequel (but I could be wrong).

hey did anyone notice the stange image in the seconde pic.....it seems lyk an hiroglif..hum i wonder
ReplyDeleteSomething behind that graphic on the second pic. Maybe a build-a-figure like Hasbro's doing in the Star Wars line?
ReplyDeleteYet another name slap that doesn't make sense.....what feature about his alt mode screams "Rollbar" ? Does Hasbro even know what one looks like ? A dune buggy yes, a delivery truck, no. Should've been named "Heavy hauler" or "Wideload" or something like that.
ReplyDeleteDoes this remind anyone of the ice cream truck?
ReplyDeleteIt's a Red Bull truck.
ReplyDeleteHe's not a Legends class figure. He's a Scout class, as noted on the side view. Probably an expanded universe figure for the sequel movie toys. Definitely not in the movie.

ReplyDeleteAnd why do you care what his name is, if he propably won't even be in the movie, and you won't buy him?

ReplyDeleteSpringer - According to Wikipedia, leaked toy images of the Autobot were seen on the internet. His alternate form is expected to be a V-22 Osprey. (The same aircraft that drops the soldiers off at the base at the beginning of the first film.)
Astrotrain - A potential vehicle has apparently been spotted on set.
Prowl - A Chinese police car has been spotted on set, leading some to speculate that this may be the Autobot police car, who was originally intended to appear in the first film. Before it was decided that a Decepticon police car would be a better idea. (Barricade).
Hound - An Autobot military Jeep Wrangler. According to the IMDb trivia page, Hound was included as a special request from the US Military, who wanted to see a military vehicle as a good guy this time around. As the military vehicles in the first film were used primarily for the evil Decepticons.
Wheeljack - Saab-Aero X that has been spotted on set.
To the guy above... Yes, just belive in everything that's on wiki...
ReplyDelete"Hey, look! I spotted a skateboard on set, it must be Grindor from Armada! Hey look, i spotted a car on set, it must be Gears/Bumper/Tracks/Trailbreaker/Blurr/Hot Rod!!!! Hey, i spotted a cat on set, it must be a pretender!!"
Hmm ... they trademarked the symbol on the side view of the package, so that means it can't be an Earth language.
ReplyDeleteWonder what that's all about ... otherwise, it's another toy to add to the list of "do not give a rat's".

ReplyDeleteAlright, I found another little hint at the possibility of Optimus and Jetfire being able to combine in ROTF. If you go onto seibertron.com, and look at the other scout class figure, the motorcycle, read the description of the character on the back of the package, it says something along the lines of "he wants the new combination retrofit that everyone's been talking about", just me, or is that a hint at the combination of OP and Jetfire?
ReplyDeleteI saw Rollbar for sale at Disney's EPCOT Center in Orlando back in July. He was located in the country of Japan's gift shop along with the V-22 Osprey and a black Caddy Escalade. I almost bought the Osprey but I had two other parks to hit that day.
