Preview Soundwave A Triple-Changer

Action-Figure.com has posted pictures of the preview wave of Deluxe Soundwave and Bumblebee in their packages which includes a nice CGI image their heads. It turns out that the theory that Soundwave's alt mode is a satellite still lives to fight another day as the package indicates he is a triple-changer. Those wing flaps in his Cybertronian jet could easily become solar panels for a satellite. Hopefully the backside of the package will be leaked soon to verify the various theories about the character. Thanks to Phil for the links.

    Just by looking at the CGI head of Soundwave, I can already tell he's gonna be badass.

    Heys Phil here, just letting you guys know the section "Ironhide, Twins and Megatron Robot Images" has been updated with some new pictures and speculation about Mudflap (Swerve). Enjoy!

    O btw, I love the fact that Soundwave can be both a Cybertronian Satellite AND Jet!!! The jetmode seems quite reminicent of Megatron in my opinion. Kinda hints at how allegiant Soundwave really is to Megatron doesn't it?

    Why in the hell are they already transformed into their robot modes? I prefer them to be in their vehicle modes because it's better I like discover how the figure forms. WTH!!!!!

    Because everything should be just like you want, huh? :P And BTW, disovering Soundwave true alt mode form should be enough for you...

    Oh K!!! Im pleased with Soundwaves design.
    Next on the list is his voice!
    And from some of the online interviews Ive read productions did pay particular attention to his unique monotone synthesizer of a voice.
    A voice that has been dubbed as downright spooky...

    hey has any1 ever read alinace #2? Soundwave makes a small apereance there, basicly he is in MARS and he decides to use the destroyed space shutle/satelite that was carrng the MArs rover....What to guys think maybe his 2 alt modes are Cyber Jet and Space SHuttle/satelite?

    That CGI shot of Soundwaves head/face is telling me how vicious he's going to look when the movie comes out. The toy doesn't excite me as much though it is still cool in its own rights. As I said, I can't wait to see Soundwave on the big screen, that will be awesome! I also hope they get Welker, the return of such a classic character deserves his original voice like Optimus Prime.

    They're probably packed in robot mode because they want the toys to identify with kids. Kids like the coolness of the robot more so than the coolness of the alternate mode.

    If i'm not mistaken, aren't the preview toys released ahead of the actual wave of toys? So if may 29th give or take, is the release of the full wave of TF2 toys, when do you expect we can see the preview toys?

    That wasnt Devastator it was 1/7th of Devastator. It was the big Earth mover in robot mode.

    And for you, Selective realism, I say this: that robot was Devastator. It's head was similar than it Constructicon excavator toy, but in teaser trailer appeared combination of all Constructicons. If you check out few photos of it excavator robot, you'll find out that one of photos shows one component of Devastator. Don't say anything against this, because you must understand what is true and what is false.

    I'm sorry. I made an error in watching of trailer. That excavator isn't a Constructicon. Constructicons are another Decepticons. That excavator robot is too big to be a Constructicon. But there still was confirmed that there will appear Devastator, combination of 7 Constructicons. If they have own robot modes, they must be smaller than it excavator robot. But still is strange that excavator is separate Decepticon instead of being a Constructicon.
