Transformers Vehicle Auction

Premiere Props is currently running an auction that gives you a chance to bid on vehicles used in Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This includes Barricade (2005 Saleen Mustang) that pretty much puts a kibosh in any chances of the return of that character. In addition a NEST Assault vehicle, custom "Supercharged Green motorcycle" and 2004 Big Bear Pro-Street Venom Chopper are also being auctioned. The two cycles were part of the scene filmed at the shop owned by Mikaela's Dad. Click the above links for current bid price and a gallery for each.(via TFormers)

  1. Weren't there other Barricade car models? I remember seeing photos of like, 2 or 3 early last year...? Maybe this isn't the end of Barricade!

  2. Unless they got some kind of permission or made some kind of changes to Baricade....

I somehow i doubt the authorities will let them sell Barricade the way it is in that pic.

  3. You can drive a car that looks like a cop car, but you can't actually do anything (i.e. flash lights at people, etc.) that would count as impersonating a police officer and get you in a lot of trouble.

And in the description of the item it says that this the Barricade car being sold is one of three made for the first film.

Oh, and I want it. After that an Audi R8 painted like Sideways would be nice. If someone would just give me money that'd be great.

  4. Well, from what has been posted on this board, it seems that Barricade was actually supposed to meet his end in the fight scene with Bumblebee in Eygpt. I doubt he'll be in the third movie.

HOWEVER! Since he was supposed to be in this movie before Bay changed his mind, I hope the DVD will have like a special feature where we can see the scene as it was originally intended, with Baracade getting his butt kicked by Bumblebee.

Yeah, it would be expensive, but come on ... look at the profits on this movie. If we fans heard that they would include this in the special addition DVD/Blu-Ray it would sell like crazy.

  6. First of all, you can't drive a cop car around anywhere, that still counts as impersonation, regardless of if you use the "lights". Second of all, I love how both my favorite new transformers models were Barricade and Sideways and they both got screwed by Bay. What a joke, he has made these movies so childish. What is the death count for ' bots vs 'cons? 2 to 12397523?

  8. I'm not sure how cannon everyone is taking the novels. But if you read the Veiled Threat, the official prequel to Revenge of the Fallen, Barricade does make an appearance.
