Activision has
released two more images to tease their upcoming downloadable content pack for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen The Video Game. One is G1 Optimus Prime in all his classic glory and the other is the movie version of Soundwave, apparently sporting a color scheme close to his Generation 1 counterpart. Considering Soundwave has an alt mode of a jet, I imagine his play will be nearly identical to Starscream. The DLC is supposed to come out in the next month or so for the XBox 360 and Playstation 3, cost not yet released.

ReplyDeleteActivision needs to fix the online multiplayer on Playstation3 edition. I own the Italian version of the game and it just doesn't work. All my other PS3 games work on PSN multiplayer on both PSN-Europe and PSN-USA.
ReplyDeleteAnd searching thru games support forum even on the official game website forum it's full of people unable to play the multiplayer game on the PS3. Activision needs to release a patch immediately instead of replying customers by e-mail that there are no issues with the game. The multiplayer feature is broken and needs a patch.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! G1 Optimus looks great, but would love to play as Soundwave. Now, if they could just move up the release date for the DVD release, all would be well.
ReplyDelete$800 million world wide so far. This movie will not be defeated this summer. Even GI Joe looks disappointing from the previews. Looked good to start but found out Cobra Commander won't even be in it. WTF?
ReplyDeleteWith the game being as good as it is (well, for a movie tie-in game anyway), and the DVD/Blu-Ray sales, this movie will make well over a billion.
Makes one wonder ... you know the production companies will not want to wait 2 years before Bay starts work on the third. So will Bay agree to start earlier than he wants, or will he jump ship and let someone else take the helm? I'm not sure I like that idea ...
@Kracker: so.. you go around insulting people reporting bugs on Activision games or what? Are you getting paid to do that? Is that the new Activision customer care policy, perhaps?

As I said I am from Italy and I own the Italian PS3 version of the game. Anyway on various forums it's full of customers reporting that the online multiplayer just doesn't work and they can't connect.
If you read what I said before insulting... all my other PS3 games work flawlessly in multiplayer mode connected online to both PSN Europe and PSN USA servers. So it's quite obvious that it's the Transformers2 game that is flawed and needs a bug.
I will keep reporting about the bug and requesting Activision to fix this with a patch until it will get fixed because I PAID FOR IT and the game is not cheap at all. It must work, period.
And if you are an Activision employee or affiliated with them in any possible way then you should get fired. Activision must support its customers, we paid for the game, I paid for the game and it must work. Bugs must be fixed. Period.

ReplyDelete@Kracker: All your insulting and attacking me is not what a normal guy would ever do, you sound fishy and you are probably involved with or affiliated with Activision in some possible way. But you can't change reality and you don't scare me, I will keep repeating and asking for a fix until Activision employees and Activision as a company delivers the needed patch so that the game works.
ReplyDeleteYou are telling lies that you play with Italian players on PS3 if they are using the PS3 Italian version of the game simply because there is nothing they can do to play it other than stay connected to the PSN automatically and that doesn't work.
If they are from Italy but they bought the UK, USA or Japanese version of the game then probably that works, I didn't buy a second copy to try it out and that doesn't change anything, the Italian PS3 version is flawed and it needs a patch to be released by Activision.

And no, if you ever cared about reading forums talking about the game it's full of people reporting the same network issues using the UK and USA edition of the game on PS3 as well. It's not limited to me nor to the Italian release of the game.
You being so rude and so emotional about the whole issue really sounds like you either are an Activision investor, manager or employee getting irritated about my complaints. You should get fired then because insulting paying customers like me instead of working hard to release a patch it's the worst thing anyone involved with the production could do.
@Kracker: I posted on the Activision official game forums. I posted on their blog there asking for a patch to be released. You know nothing about me and you should get fired. You want Activision to not fix the bugs and not release patches for the game, but why? Is it your business? Why are you getting so emotional against customers like me reporting the simple fact that the multiplayer function doesn't work?
All other multiplayer games on my PS3 do work flawlessly, including Activision games... it's not my LAN the problem, obviously nor my ISP connection. The only problem is with Activision that released the PS3 game of Transformers2 full of bugs for the multiplayer online game mode, it's flawed, it doesn't work and it needs fixing. They have to release a patch to fix this and they have to do it now. It can't be accepted in silence to have a flawed game.
We customers can't care and don't need to care for whatever reason it is happening, what causes the game to fail on Playstation Network and if it's only affecting some copies or some regional areas. It's Activision business to solve these issues and release a patch to its paying customers. Period.

The fact that you are allowed to say whatever you want on this thread it doesn't mean that insulting people is the right thing to do and I don't think that the site owner approves that.
