Fox: Bay "...like Hitler"

Photo by Mariano VivancoWhen Megan Fox opens her mouth, often interesting things come pouring out. The latest is her talking about Transformers director Michael Bay's personality when he is working on a movie and comparing it how he is off the set in an interview with Wonderland Magazine. The interview, part of Fox's promotion of Jennifer's Body, is available in print but the Big Picture has Bay specific part.
...as Fox puts it: "[Michael] wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. It's endearing to watch him. He's so vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set, he's a tyrant."
Feeling the love here.

  1. So basicly all she has said is that Micheal Bay is ok. I hate it when interviews turn out to be like this. She hasnt said she hates Bay yet she hasnt said she likes him either.

Besides everyone knows Bay is just someone who wants to blow things up and film them. That is what he is good at although this way of shooting shouldnt be applied to all his work.

  9. It's kinda unfair to judge whether she's a good or bad actor, yet. She's barely had any roles with any substance, yet. She's pretty much only had Michael Bay screaming, "SCREAM!" "RUN!" and "SCREAM AGAIN!" She did those things well, but don't confuse a poorly written character with bad acting.

  10. I would have no problem with her not being in TF3. In fact, I'd prefer it.

  12. After this, Transformers III without Megan Fox?

  13. Why is she so angrateful? She was NOTHING before being cast for T1 and would be nothing today.

  14. Megan Fox will be in Transformers3. Then Michael Bay and Spielberg will probably shift the storyline by 15-20years in the future just like it happens in the anime/manga/comics versions and so the human cast will change, we will probably see the son of Sam and Mikaela in the teenage age at that point.

  15. As long as the next transformers fast foreward the time line to when Bay no longer exists. Or even better yet, rewind, to a time when the franchise wasn't destroyed by Bay yet.

And who gives a damn about what Fox says of Bay. Do we actually work for him and care how he directs? His movies are terrible who really cares what he's like in person.

  16. Michael Bay definatly didn't destroy the franchise, he saved it. His movies are awesome!!!

Do you even know that without bay there wouldn't be no live action transformers. You should be thanking him instead of saying he is the worst director

Alpha, are you absolutely kidding me? TF2 was the worst written and directed movie with the most absolutely god awful robot designs. I wish I was 15 years old so I could somehow appreciate this movie because to enjoy TF2 one needs to have no complex thought processes yet with an undeveloped brain.

  19. You say that like everybody in the world agrees with you. TF2 was NOT the worst movie. If it was, it wouldn't have made $829 million worldwide. And the robot designs were AWESOME. And 15 year olds aren't the only ones who loved the movie, my sister and her boyfriend are in their 20's and they loved it. My parents who are in their 40's also loved it. Like Alpha said, you should be thanking Michael Bay for saving transformers

  20. Megan Fox is just used as a decorative piece in all the movies she has acted in. Whatever comes from her mouth is irrelevant. All I know about Michael Bay is that he is an okayish director with over the top action scenes in his movies.

I agree. Bay is a total douche, everyone knows that. I don't think he really deserves any kind of respect. Anyway, I definitely think the 3rd film should fast-forward about 15 years or so. Ditch Sam and Mikaela and introduce Daniel Witwicky!
