Transformers New Line Image?

TFormers.com posted the image to the left that indicates a mock-up of the next line of Transformers products called Power Core Combiners. Based on the mock-up it really reminds me of a slightly more elaborate version of the Targetmasters from the Generation One line. The power core line was suggested a few months ago with a trademark filing from Hasbro but this is the first time there has been a real indication of what the company was planning with that name. Unless this is a fan fake which you never know until something official comes out.

  1. G1/G2 Targetmasters were pretty cool, I still have several of those! You can't beat that 2-for-1 deal. Best marketing concept ever. hehe

  2. Huffer? Caliburst? Is that Huffer from the classics line? Looks cool though.

  3. if you look carefully at the picture, the two robots in the box look like they've been photoshopped (not very well) into the picture...I'm thinking fake...the pictures look too 2 dimensional!

  4. It's mock-up. They don't use actual figures in them like that. They use a cardboard cutout of characters to show what the packaging "might" look like. There were quite a few of these for the ROTF line also. The first few pics of Jetfire came from mock-ups of his Leader figure just like this.

Classics Huffer is a cabover. But Huffer was originally a G1 minibot.
