According to The Hollywood Reporter, Transformers: Dark of the Moon will have a TV trailer that will air during the Super Bowl XLV on February 6th. The movie will join trailers from Super 8, Thor, Captain American, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cowboys & Aliens and others. Rates for this year's Super Bowl ads are around $3 million per 30-second spot.
Paramount also aired a Super Bowl trailer two years ago Revenge of the Fallen. Usually, due to the cost of the spot, the studios put together Super Bowl specific trailers so hopefully this will give us a real look at the upcoming movie and its story. Thanks to Rumah for the info.

1 up for anon @ 11:46pm!!
ReplyDeleteSo im guessing this will be different from the teaser trailer? Because why would you spend 3 million dollars just to show scences from the teaser we saw earlier?
ReplyDeleteCant wait!!!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 1/20/2011 12:42 PM: they will just air a short 30seconds version of the same Trailer#2 that is going to be released with I_Am_Number_Four. It's just as simple as that.
ReplyDeleteQuick question: If you guys hate Rosie Whatever so much, I got a name of a hot young actress who would have been a fine choice to play Sam's new girlfriend in TF3: Aly Michalka. She is on the CW series Hellcats. She is HOT and she can actually act.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 1/20/2011 2:03 PM: Michael Bay could have chosen among many better looking actresses. Actually his best smartest option would have been to cast Odette Yustman as Mikaela Banes simply because she looks so much like Megan Fox and she is as hot that few would have complained, also she is a good actress and that would have been an added plus point. If Michael Bay had Odette Yustman playing Mikaela Banes this mess he did casting Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would have never happened and the trilogy characters and plot wouldn't have been affected at all.

ReplyDeleteI think, I THINK! keep Megan Fox as Mikaela Banes had been enough

ReplyDeleteAll I hope for with TRANSFORMERS 3: DARK OF THE MOON is for a good movie with a solid script, a coherent plot, no childish humor, great action, and for all loose ends to be tied up if this really is the last go 'round. AUTOBOTS, ROLL OUT!
ReplyDeleteAlan Lincoln punts babies!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope this movie feels like the original transformers, preserving the incoherent plot, childish humour, great action and epic music that made the previous two installments so great
