More DOTM Toys and Repaints

Yet more Transformers: Dark of the Moon toys are revealed with some probably new additions to the line, some repaints and possibly a few fakes thrown in for some confusion.

DOTM Legion 3 Pack (1x)
A Yahoo Auction shows of a legion class 3 pack that includes the first use of the name "Rodimus" (aka Hot Rod) in relation to the movie toys. The robot mode suggests a color scheme is designed to invoke his G1 as based on the Universe legends class toy. As a result trying to take a leap that this is confirmation of the red Ferrari's name would be premature. The pack includes Bumblebee and Soundwave with his satellite alt mode. (via TFW2005)

DOTM Silver Bumblebee (2x)
We already knew that deluxe Starscream as a repaint in the works and now it appears that Bumblebee does to. I guess it could be a custom figure but its size does match the smaller deluxe class being used for the DOTM line and the mold cracks don't seem to match the two deluxe class 'Bees that have already been revealed. Sideswipe Repaint for DOTM?
Speaking of repaints, an eBay auction claims to have a "Transformers Movie 3 DOTM Memorial Sideswipe" that supposedly a Japan exclusive for their Dark of the Moon line. The figure is a repaint of the Revenge of the Fallen Sideswipe in NASCAR type design. What memorial they are talking about isn't provided but the seller is probably hoping you will think of the tsunami. Personally I think it is a custom paint job. (via TFormers)

Cyberverse Hatchet (2x)
Yet another auction this one for a Cyberverse commander class toy called Decepticon Hatchet. This figure doesn't ring any bells so might just be an original mold for the DOTM line. Of note is the alt mode is a cat type mode rather than robot. (via Seibertron)

Hasbro Shareholder Gift (1x)
If you are a lucky owner of enough stocks of Hasbro and able to go to the company's annual shareholder meeting then you might get one of their gifts. This year's was RPMs Speed Stars Optimus Prime. I guess worth it if live nearby but not something to travel for.

DOTM Cyberverse Dualor (Grimlock) (2x)
It seems that a Grimlock type minicon repaint might get released as part of the Dark of the Moon toy line. It could be a custom job, could be Hasbro reaching back into their mold databank to release old molds with new G1 homage type colors but note that its packaging doesn't match Hatchet but that could be due to class differences. As usual time will tell.

Rosie Huntington-Whitley To Receive Award
Dark of the Moon actress Rosie Huntington-Whitley has been tapped to receive CinemaCon's Female Star of Tomorrow Award. CinemaCon is the new name for ShoWest which is used to promote the studio's summer crop of movies to the theatre chains. Her male counterpart for the award is Thor's Chris Hemsworth. Thanks to Mackie for the link.

  3. Hatchet looks cool, even if he isn't in the movie I'll probably pick him up.

  4. I know Bumblebee like the back of my hand, and the silver bumblebee is not a new mold, it's a repaint (custom or official) of the revenge of the fallen deluxe cannon bumblebee. Compare them, I'm sure of it.
