The Face of Lockdown?

Could the image on the left be the half face of Lockdown? It could be, at least once consider some of the info that came out of the UK Toy Fair. The Robo-Destro look was spotted at the fair via a MashEm toy that was identified as Lockdown. That toy's color scheme combined with the Lamborghini Aventador being identified as a Decepticon via a race track toy seems to provide very strong evidence that Lockdown is the Aventador. Of course none of this official but it aligns strongly with the various rumors. (via Seibertron)

  1. I wonder what's up with the human like faces we have seen so far...mainly Drift and potentially Lockdown

  2. So I took Lockdowns picture and duplicated it. I then flipped it and merged it to make a full frontal shot of his face. Looks pretty good...Id like to share it, but not sure how to attach it to my blog post. Any ideas from the blog master?

The faces remind me of an art style from some of the IDW All Hail Megatron comics. It's growing on me.

  4. I'm getting a Darth Maul vibe from this guy especially the full face shot.

  5. I actually think this is Grimlock because I know the green gray mash em toy isn't Grimlock. It looks more like Lockdown to me. Then he has goggles on his head like a spy/bounty hunter would have. Kind of reminds me of Riddick a bit.

  6. Just thought about it the green and grey guy has to be Crosshairs. He has goggles like a spy or sniper.

  7. Simbatron: I thought the squishy head things on Seibertron.com that someone pointed out as Lockdown was more like Silas from TFP (it was even next to TFP Ratchet) and they are doing a TFP line in that range. I don't like this, it's too humanoid. I'd say the green face that someone id'd as Hound is more likely to be Crosshairs (similar colour, sporty looking, goggles/eye-wear suitable for a sniper/shooter, and haven't we seen Hound looking like a bearded lumberjack ?) Don't like Drift's supposed face one bit either, why would Cybertronian's have noses and cheeks and chins ? These guys are ALIENS - so have them look like that. They don't breathe, don't eat, don't sweat - so make them look alien. Ratchet's face was best, most unlike humans.

I don't like the idea of Lockdown as the main bad guy... as the Aventador he'd be the same size as 'Bee/Barricade so OP would just squish him. And if the Dinobots are ridden into battle then they sound huge... who the hell they gonna fight ?! Unless the stunticons do make an appearance and merge to form Menasor. But who is motormaster ? A friend at Hasbro has confirmed the Argosy is a man-made TF from leftover TF technology - they couldn't remember the character name tho but they think it's gonna be Galv.

    Only a week ‘til SB… !!!

  8. I think Drifts face is just a mask over his robotic face. That's why it's a different color like that. You know Samurais wear mask.

  9. Asteroid that killed the dinosaurs was Unicron's "planet" form. Asteroid the size of Rhode Island this time, instead of planet sized. He's "dead", Primus killed him 65 million years ago.

Dinobots: The "transformers" that Unicron's body was populated with, similar to Primus' cybertronians. Some of them followed their God to Earth millions of years ago, reformatted to anything they could still find alive here when they found where he landed, but went offline since their source of life was gone.

Death of Primus in Earth's atmosphere as well as the dissemination of All Spark Energy from the first movie let loose tons of energy.

Some of this energy is captured in relics, the "Matrixes" of the Dinobots and where their life source comes from. The relics were empty since the Dinobots had been dormant so long. They're essentially Unicron's version of the Matrix, able to revive dead unicronians.

This is what Wahlberg's character finds, one of those relics, and it's active now.

Meanwhile, the Autobots have been forced into hiding by a rogue human organization, which is being supplied and aided by Lockdown.

Other relics have been found by the evil human character and funneled to China, where they were used to re-animate/imbue sparks to Chinese created transformers, which are pieced together from what remained of the Decepticons. Lockdown has been key in aiding the human to do this as well as locating the relics. These Chinese Decepticons are tainted with Unicron's energy and extra powerful - as well as having the ability to combine. Each is armed with a relic, and the relics combine to form Menasor's weapon as well. The program to revive these Decepticons is portrayed as being the responsibility of the evil rogue American businessman (since China would sensor the film if the actual Chinese government were portrayed as responsible.)

Wahlberg's final relic is lost to Lockdown, and it is used to re-animate what is left of Megatron's body. It is Megatron's personal weapon, but he's Galvatron now.

Prime and the Autobots have been on a hunt as well, locating the original recipients of Unicron's energy, long lifeless, aboard Lockdown's ship. Lockdown had located them but not revived them as they were not Decepticons and obviously extremely powerful. Prime uses the Matrix to re-animate them and because of this they are feral but not evil. The plant/warehouse where the Decepticons were being re-animated is revealed to be Lockdown's ship, cloaked, which Prime disables when he boards it, keeping it from transforming and taking off.

Big battle ensues. Galvatron leads the Stunticons against Prime, the Autobots and the Dinobots.

Movie ends with the Decepticons defeated but not destroyed, and Prime decides to leave the planet, as he realizes that the presense of the Matrix and the release of Allspark energy revived more than the Dinobots - Primus' old enemy is stirring deep in the ocean where he's been buried for millions of years, not completely dead, and Prime leaves on Lockdown's ship to locate what is left of Cybertron to see if he can use the matrix to revive Primus. The End

    1. Anonymous 1/24/14 11:14 am,

where did you get this info from? (it is pretty good) Or is this "fan fiction"?

    2. This is a work of fan fiction from awhile back. Why he keeps posting it as something real I have no idea. Other than to be a nuisance.

  10. Yeah that synopsis has been floating around for a while. Not bad but I don't believe the writer of Transformers would write that.

I'm not so sure about the human looking faces, but I do have to say, this face for Lockdown looks awesome terrifying!
I was always against te humanoid faces, especially santabot. But maybe this time it works, there's a reason for it.
And it is some sort of way of disguise, to be more human to blend in, allthough they are still huge alien robots, but I guess that's what they have looked like in the cartoons since day 1. They looked human or they had a mouthguard.

I don't think there has been a robot that looks more mencaing than this Lockdown face.
But I don't think Lockdown will be the main villain, Bay will never reveal that and we never saw the Lambo in action on the Chinese set in Detroit.
And like others said, he's way to small to go up against Optimus, Optimus would smash his ass to oblivion.

  13. Well someone has ripped someone off twf2005 and posted it on here well done dickless for nicking someone's theory on how the movie will pan out. Question why do transformers fans argue amongst them selves about how a film should turn out ???

    ReplyDelete
  14. Because some are passionate about Transformers and some are brain dead idiots who don't realize it's stupid to argue about.

Holy crap dude, that would awesome and could work. If the mysrious @ is right about a dragonlike Menasor, then the Optimus/Grimlock combiner could fight Menasor.
      It's a nice suggestion.
