Critics TV Spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction

Below is a new 15 second spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction. I can't help but wonder if quotes are either taken out of context or if those are the "critics" that essentially exist to write happy things for the studios to use (there are more of that type then might think).

  1. Because it's impossible that a Transformers movie could actually be good?

    1. It's not impossible, but the first three were crapfests.

Don't get me wrong. I've seen every TF movie so far, and I'll see AoE, but I don't go for the story, I go to see ILM magic and live-action Transformers that my ten-year-old self would have been crazy about. I'm under no illusion that these are actually good movies.

  2. There are a large number of critics out there and some will like it and some will not. They've picked a couple that did although their names are unknown to me.

  9. I really do think this one is the best TF movie yet~ It's a far departure from the annoying OptimuShia LeButt and Megatron Fox haha... however I do miss Tyrese Gibson~

  10. You know, I do watch a LOT of action adventure films about car racing, bike racing, and a few superhero movies here and there. I dunno about you, but I really don't expect Academy Award winning acting coming out of any of that sort of stuff. Like I'm not in it for the acting, I'm in for the explosions and car chase scenes and stuff. And TF movies do that for me. :)

  11. saw it last night, i agree this was the best of the franchise. story is simple for a child to understand but does not mean its bad! everyone was clapping their hands at the end of the movie. Bring your kids and be a kid once in a while :)

  12. Tfcollect:I had seen the movie last night. It started off slow then picked up. I'm not going to argue points of opinion here, it's a waste of time. In my opinion it was a,good movie. Just thought the humor was bland. I really appreciated seeing Optimus Prime in his original truck mode. Lockdown made the movie, in comparison to Megatron....Megatron wore a skirt. What I didn't see in the movie was BB dancing. Wasn't in the movie. The dinobots looked great.

  13. I thought the movie was great.the only down part was that we had autobots disappear again without any mentions to what happened to each of them. They where survivors of the battle of Chicago so they should've been mentioned. The autobots did come to earth to seek refuge from their on going battle in cybertron, they have already been through a lot and lost billions of their kind and Micheal Bay dosn't get that optimus prime is also trying to save his raise from extinction. He just kills off every character he doesn't need any more or makes them vanish. Can't he just make them background Autobots.I also think the humans have been the main focus of these films.I think in the fifth and sixth films, the battle should take place in space. They can also rebuild cybertron or have more autobots with the transformiam. But over all the film was amazing I really like it.But we need more autobots, Hasbro or Michael Bay whoever's in charge of character placement, needs to stop making them be killed off or disappeared.
