TF5 Called Transformers: The Last Knight (Updated)

Via the official Instagram account we now have the official title of Transformers 5. It will be called Transformers: The Last Knight. No other details released yet about the cast or story but production is expected to start mid June. My guess is the title is in part based on the Knights theme that was part of Optimus and other Transformers designs from the last film and continues the story arc from Prime going off in space. Also the comic books have been referencing the Knights of Cybertron for the last few years...

Update: MichaelBay.com has also posted about the title saying:
It’s been an amazing journey with Transformers. Ready for another ride, Optimus?

Transformers starts production this week in Cuba.

  1. Love the picture of Optimus there but not sure what I think of the title. It kind of lacks the intensity that like Revenge Of The Fallen and Age Of Extinction had. Either way glad it's finally getting under way

  2. The title is kind of lame and to just regular movie goers they will think this is the last Transformers film

  3. I'm not big on the title either, but I'm just glad there is movie news that we can talk about.....and why is his eyes purple?

  4. The outlines of the face are very close to the decepticon insignia. My gut says that Galvatron sees Optimus leave and constructs his own clone of Optimus to wreak havoc while the real Optimus is in space.

  7. what sucks is if Galvatron is in this movie, they will have to bring back his horrible new method of transforming.

    1. I agree-NOT feeling that whole molecular-breakdown transformation method. Maybe they'll tweak Galvatron's design some so that he's not so much of a shell former. There's a guy on YouTube named Montri Polchai who did what I humbly feel is a better transformation scheme for Galvatron. Just search "MPX Graphics Galvatron".

    2. My mistake - it's "MPXGraphics Motormaster" (but it uses the same alt mode).
