A new classification from the Alberta Film Ratings office for "Transformers: The Last Knight (IMAX exclusive trailer)" indicates that IMAX viewers at least will get an early peak at the upcoming movie. No release date is indicated but Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them does seem like a prime opportunity. If not with that movie then Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the other likely candidate for the most all ages audience the TF5 marketing group would be aiming for. The office just rated the trailer as PG and provided no additional info marketing plans or if a non-IMAX trailer are in the works.
Update: The likely IMAX "trailer" can be viewed here.

Most probably we're gonna see it with Rogue One. November feels a bit too early for a Transformers trailer. And that's ignoring the fact that excepting for the first movie, our first glimpse used to be with the short ads for the superbowl, so even december is quite early.
ReplyDeleteThe teaser for Dark of the Moon was released in December 2010.
DeleteIn one of his "behind the scenes" videos Bay said it would be with Rouge One.
ReplyDeleteActually all he said was it would come out either November OR December. He never said what movie it would be attached to. All signs pointing to it being attached to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which comes out Friday. Trailers tend to be released a week after being rated, and this one was rated last Friday.
DeleteNo trailer...that imax compilation you posted was shown but nothing really
ReplyDeleteThe next paramount movie is Allied, it will be attached to that. Kong: Skull Island was attached to Fantastic Beasts, because it is Warner bros. Studios like to promote there own movies.
