Paramount Announces Transformers Trilogy, New Cartoon Series

In their investor meeting today, ViacomCBS announced a bunch of news including renaming themselves to Paramount. As part of the meeting they announced their future plans. On the Transformers front they summarized it succinctly in a tweet.

"Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be released theatrically in 2023 and is the first of three new installments. A new animated series from @Nickelodeon arrives this fall. And in 2024, the franchise expands further with a CG animated Transformers theatrical film." 

The Transformers Instagram account revealed the CGI animated series is called "Transformers: Earthspark" along with three screenshots that give you an idea of how the series will look. The current plans are for Rise of the Beasts to be released on June 9, 2023 and the animated film on July 19, 2024. No release dates on the other 2 movies in the trilogy.
