Transformers One Clip from Kids' Choice Awards

As part of the Kids' Choice Awards on Nickelodeon, a scene from Transformers One was shown. The scene seems to occur shortly after the four get their Transformation Cogs for the first time from Alpha Trion. Should be noted that in Transformers lore they are born with the cogs and from the cartoons damaging them can prevent transformation. Being Cybertronians/Transformers and all this new take is a rather odd choice for the writers and director to take as takes away a core part of what Transformers are and just makes it an upgrade no different then a software update or some hardware add-on.
