Harbx.com has posted a pic of the CGI image of Frenzy in robot mode that looks odd to me. Big ole head, lots of pointy sharp places and still no clue on what his alternate mode is. Yet I like him. Not sure why. (source)
As far as I know, he's a boombox. That would've been Soundwave, but fan outrage got the name changed. First they changed it to Soundbyte, but that wasn't good enough, so now he is Frenzy.
Eh, not the greatest design of all time, but I'd still be scared shitless if I had to fight that thing. Which, from what I've heard, Sam does. Good luck with that.
i don't get it... ONE image of 'soundbyte/frenzy/soundwave/woteverthehellyouwannacallhim' hits the web and within 5 minutes we're already gettin CGI renders of him/it/woteverthehellyouthinkitis! what about cgi renders of all the others... i.e. Ratchet and Blackout... the earlierst toys leaked/released.
according to the earlier leaked script, he's a boombox (homage to Soundwave) but only 4ft tall in robot mode... thats how he gets away with been stowed on AirForceOne. he also gets physically pulled apart but then fuses himself back together... but i suppose they've all gotta have this power otherwise joints and hinges would be visible all over their bodies when in vehicle/alt mode form... wonder how ILM are gonna visualise them 'fusing' back together... should look pretty nifty!
when we gonna get some transformation hints/tips/clues cos so far i doubt anyone has an idea as to how any of them shapeshift!... i mean prime might as well just be a meccano set and as for megatron... not even gonna go there!
Soundwave will not be a CD player in the sequel. Frenzy looks like he might be a cd player. Soundwave won't be because he will be a full size robot. Thats why soundwave didn't make the first movie. Tape players aren't 10 feet tall. They were undecided about soundwaves alt mode, so they decided to add him in the sequel.

i think his 'hips' give his alt mode away... looks like they form some part of speakers, thus leaning towards 'boombox' alt mode.
