Transformers Soundtrack Album Music

IGN has posted an article revealing the 12 sound and artists on the Transformers Soundtrack which will be in stores on July 3rd.

The article:
Transformers Soundtrack Hits July 3rd
Album for Michael Bay's summer blockbuster chock full of rock blasts and exclusive tracks.

June 7, 2007 - On July 3rd, 2007, Warner Bros. will release the soundtrack album to Michael Bay's Transformers

The album will feature a total of 12 tracks, nine of which are brand new and exclusive to the soundtrack.

Artists included on the album range from Linkin Park to Smashing Pumpkings, Disturbed, The Used, HIM, Taking Back Sunday, and more.

The first single from the album will be "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)" by the Goo Goo Dolls.

Transformers - Music From The Motion Picture
1. Linkin Park "What I've Done"
2. Smashing Pumpkins "Doomsday Clock"
3. Disturbed "This Moment"
4. Goo Goo Dolls "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)"
5. The Used "Pretty Handsome Awkward"
6. HIM "Passion's Killing Floor"
7. Taking Back Sunday "What It Feels Like To Be A Ghost?"
8. Styles Of Beyond "Second To None"
9. Armor For Sleep "End Of The World"
10. Idiot Pilot "Retina and the Sky"
11. Julien-K "Technical Difficulties"
12. Mutemath "Transformers Theme"
I am going to hazard a guess that Mutemath is the ones responsible for the music track on Sector 7. "Fiction" isn't listed but I think that the new name is "Before It's Too Late"

Update: Turns out my guess about the Sector 7 track being the Mutemath track was completely wrong. To find out how wrong, go to the Mutemath MySpace page to listen to their "Transformers Theme" track. If it doesn't play right off, its on the music menu on the right column of the site. Thanks to uwgrimlock and others for the info.

  1. So where is Stan Bush? Unless he is involved with one of those exclusive songs for the soundtrack? Or maybe an additional soundtrack not yet announced? Guess we'll have to wait it out until release day...

  2. SHH has a new interview with Peter Cullen and I'm proud to say that he first found out how big Transformers was and how much of an impact he had on us in my hometown of Rochester, NY. That's right, Rochester, home of the world famous garbage plate. Look it up.

  3. Mute Math did, indeed, do the TF theme. Really goes to show the incredible range of flavors they have. They sound perfect for the track.

  4. Mutemath sounds an awful lot like Linkin Park in the new theme. It's a great theme anyway, no matter who did it.

  5. What a spectacular collection of bad taste. Not that I expected any better from a Hollywood movie, but still...

Who's to say that maybe your tastes are bad?

I, and a lot of people, like the list that they've come up with.

  7. Styles of Beyond is the best token rap act they could find for this soundtrack?? They arent even a relevant underground group anymore.

MF DOOM is ready made for this movie's soundtrack

the theme you listened to off sector 7 was a red herring. this it mutemath's myspace page. it seems they put up their theme song to prove they're are far better than linkin park ;)

  10. Interesting, so correct me if I'm wrong then that we're being fed deliberately false content to tease us into submission? haha That IS interesting.

  11. Just to clear something up: the Transformers theme song from the Sector 7 site is *not* the Mutemath theme. You can hear the Mutemath version here:

  13. I like the Sector seven version way more. I'm guessing Linkin Park did thier own for fun.

Mute Maths is way too low, slow, timid and boring.

  14. FYI, the sample has been replaced by the full version track on their myspace page now =D

  15. J'adore trop le theme TRANSFORMERS qu'on produit Linkin Park!!

  16. Mutemath's version is horrible. It does not keep the tempo of the true Transformers feel as did the other one from Sector Seven website. This soundtrack is decent, mainly because of Linkin Park and Disturbed, but it could be better.

It has just been released and is available for immediate download. I was inspired to compose this track given the upcoming release of the newest Transformers movie coming out July 4th. If you like the Transformers action figures, series, and movies... Then I think you will enjoy this track.

Listen and download the "Transformers: Inkebana Style" track from Inkebana.
