TF Ice Cream Truck Video
A few weeks ago Gettodeath was able to take pictures of some of the vehicles while they where at a San Pedro site filming for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Below is a brief video that Gettodeath provided today of the mysterious Ice Cream truck that keeps popping up.
Thanks to Gettodeath for the video.

FINALY I HAVE BEEN LOOKING UP AND DOWN THE NET FOR SOMTHING LIKE THIS! i wonder why they are in such a rush?
ReplyDeleteLooks like the video has been removed all ready.
ReplyDeletei read somewhere that the ice cream truck is suppose to turn in to 2 other bots.
ReplyDeleteI really wonder what this truck is going to transform to... but it'd make one awesome figure though :D
ReplyDeleteSo i guess that means that the ice cream truck really is a character in transformers. any news on who it is?
ReplyDeletei think i found some info on this character guide from filmgrenade
http://www.filmgrenade.com/2008/08/11/exclusive-transformers-2-characters-guide/
I still refuse to believe that thing becomes a Transformer (or two)!
ReplyDeleteLOL I like how Film Grenade is using my cheat sheet exactly (and many images from this site) without giving proper credit. I had hoped they would have at least offered something new.
ReplyDelete- TFLive
Cool! I wonder who that is. If its a Decepticon that would be funny to see. An evil ice cream truck. xd
ReplyDeleteCome on. Let's use our heads here.
ReplyDeleteThat's a classic Michael Bay decoy. It's not a real Transformer!
Listen to the motor, which that sound effect is obviously not going to be used in the movie. Why would they go to effort to place a brand new engine into a beat-up ice cream truck and make it drive around a lot? It has to be for some kind of use. Just sayin'... ^_^
ReplyDeleteGreat camera work, there. OH WOW TEN SECONDS OF THE SKY AND SOME STUFF AT THE BOTTOM.
ReplyDeleteIt just may be a Transformer. Looking at the footage there didnt appear to be a driver.
ReplyDeleteI think it turns into a robotic SweetTooth from the Twisted Metal games. ;)
ReplyDeletedefinitely it is a bot, look how nobody drives that icecream truck.
ReplyDelete@ http://x17online.com/ there are pics from the transformers set from the past fews days
ReplyDeleteDid anyone notice the tank thing just on the right hand side of the video towards then end??
ReplyDeleteIf it is a transformer and if they are twins then I would guess that it would be the Autobots Rack'n'Ruin.
ReplyDeleteIf you listen closely, you can hear Mr. Bay shouting in the background.
Hey Geoff, It is not a tank. It is the porche cayenne with the camera monted to the top.
I live in LA and talked to someone who was working on the set months back. He mentioned the Ice Cream Truck to me and said it does split into two vehicles, but when I asked what Transformer it was supposed to be he said it wasn't a Transformer at all. Now either he was lying so he wouldn't get in trouble or the vehicle is something the Government is using to trap other Transformers possibly? There are the Duocons but I doubt they would ever be in the film, and some of Soundwaves later tapes did combine into one robot. So who knows.
ReplyDeleteIf he didn't want to get in trouble by telling that, he wouldn't tell you this AT ALL. And Duocons doesn't work that way...
ReplyDeleteHey, maybe it's the government's first attempt at building their own robot in disguise?
ReplyDeleteif that ice-cream truck is an Autobot he'd better be a kick ass Autobot warrior & not another version of Jazz...
ReplyDeleteI think it's been said before but as a long shot... it could be Kup. An old rust-bucket like him wouldn't want to be all gleaming and chromed up. But then again I don't know if Bay'll take that angle with the 2nd film, i.e. the Hot Rod era replacing Prime (if Kup's in then Hot Rod and Ultra Magnus have got to be in!! Altho we ain't seen any Magnus-type apt modes).
ReplyDeleteI think Director Bay did mentioned that there will be a "geriatric bot" in TF2 (check wiki). So my guess is that this could be Kup.
ReplyDeleteOnslaught Six,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. I had to hide the camera because some set guy told security "make sure this guy doesnt take pictures" So i was also dissapointed when i looked at it. From what I am hearing the Ice Cream truck is to be Stinger ans Wheels. Somebody yelled at me after i took this video "Could you please get away from the fence and not be in our shot!"

If this ice cream truck is actually a transformer the only way it makes sense to me is if that TF landed in such a location that the ice cream truck was the only alt mode available to scan. Talk about some seriously bad luck if that's the case. Perhaps there is some other reason why a TF chose to scan such a rediculous vehicle, but nothing comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteThey are supposed to be autobot tiwns and they are suppsosed to be very young also newcomer's so this is there first misson as autobots and i thnk the ice cream truck is cute it's so pudgy!
ReplyDeleteTwins sppeling error sorry! <:)
ReplyDeleteAn Ice cream truck is actualy a great disguse! No one would suspect it! for once autobots know how to blend in!
ReplyDeleteYou know that it is two-bots and there has been pictures of toys everywhere! they are skids and mudflap who combine into an ice cream truck , if you don't beleive me go onto http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-rotf-figures-revealed-ice-cream-truck-twins-arcee-jolt-more/15760/ so there you go! :) P.S.
ReplyDeletesorry if I ruined the movie for you.
Beside some medium ice cream trucks, you might also need some heavy digger derrick trucks for your projects.
ReplyDeleteI love transformers!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I always loved the transformers when I was a kid. I can't get into the new transformers movies though. Still love them though.
