Considering that Shia is wearing a leather jacket in what is currently an average temperature of 80 degrees in the LA area, I think its safe to assume that he and Megan are wearing their costumes for the movie. The reason for the coat may be a story point where Sam is starting college at an unnamed Ivy League school in the New England area and since school starts in the fall it tends to be a touch colder. As for Megan's outfit, it’s probably to simplify covering up her Marilyn Monroe arm tattoo which avoids constant make-up touch-ups between takes.
While I assume they are somewhere around Los Angeles, the usual what, where, why and so forth remain a mystery. A few select pictures are below and the rest of the gallery is here. Thanks to a site reader for the heads-up.

"an unnamed ivy league school"? It seems to me that Sam struggled to get three A's in the first movie. If that was such a big deal for him to get those A's, how does he end up in an Ivy league school? I guess if Frenzy can slice through the fed's firewall in a matter of seconds, anything is possible with a computer these days.
ReplyDeleteAs for Sam having a hard time getting into an Ivy League school, there was a post a few months ago or so about a guy who was an extra in a scene telling us that Sam was in class acting "really smart" and called Einstein WRONG or something... It's safe to assume that he was mutated by his exposure to Cybertronians or the Allspark.

ReplyDeleteTfLive: While I thank you and your posters TREMENDOUSLY for all the things you all post regarding TF and TF2, I just hope that Bay and Co will show us MORE than just humans and start showing us their Robot Counterparts, especially the NEW ones. Then again, given the backlash Bay endured during the 1st film, I doubt that's ever gonna happen.
