Ironhide, Twins and Megatron Robot Images

Thanks to Phil who sent me the below pictures that I think came from the Transformers The Game website joining the previous leaked pictures of the Twins. Nowadays its hard to tell but the detail isn't up to the level of Empire's Optimus Prime image making me think they are all based on ILM's designs but modified for the game's graphics engine. Ironhide looks slightly different, I just can't pin down why. The new angle on the Twins just makes them even stranger looking. As for Megatron, in the bottom right you can see potential tread and he has two claw-hands instead of a cannon arm, either a game design change or maybe the cannon is not permanent but a sub-transformation similar to his weapon in the first movie.


Update: Just a side note, as the below image proves, final verification that those images leaked back in September where related to "Mudflap". Apparently the buggy look eyes were related to his head design. Thanks to Phil for the image below.

    Huh... I was hoping Skids' twin be named from G1 like Gears or Overdrive. But "Mudflap" ...that would fit. Fine by me. I'll see them in the movie!

    Megatrons shoulder on the left is bigger then the one on the right.... Maybe that has something to do with the cannon...

    Yeah, I really don't understand why they'd:

    a) Make multiple new Megatron toys
    b) Include images of his new (un-movie-canon, as some of you say) mode on the packaging for the canon movie toys
    c) Feature him prominently in all this pre-movie stuff

    ...if they're not going to put him in the movie. I dunno. That just seems weird to me.

    Ironhide: Because this is merely a promotional picture, it is probably not the same design that will be in the movie. For the first film, Ironhide had a different looking face in promotional material than in the movie. In the movie he had lips and his face DID NOT look like that. I've got a poster from the first film and his face looks the same as in this picture (with the big black piece).

    Megatron: His shoulders are beefed up and he has some additonal armour on his face. His left hand's fingers look more gnarly than in the first film. You can also vaguely make out tank treads on his legs. It also seems that he's got two turbine-things on his back. Maybe his right hand can transform into that claw/cannon thing?

    Ironhide: No noticeable changes, good.
    Megatron: Lots of changes, great!
    Twins: BOOOOOO.......

    hey..for those who think that the twins will look small and short.....i've juz got one thing to say...they tottaly will...

    Notice the size of the wheels compared to their boddy's...if i'm not mistaken these guys are about 11 or 12 ft tall

    maybe there kids

    and arcee the mother....maybe Ironhide got to show her his canon... lmao

    Phil here, I juz wanted to point out the top left hand corner of the image I sent on the update section is actually Mudflap's face. As you can see, the black orbs are really his eyes with a silver triangle in the middle, which is obvious on the M&M picture and game art of Mudflap. Also, looking at the bottom of the upper left hand corner image, you can see the 3 metallic threads hanging off the bottom of his mouth. I'll admit it, this WHOLE time I thought the upper left hand corner image was the back of Mudflap, until my little sister Annie (Annime) pointed out the doors were missing and those weren't arms and wheels, but his ears and eyes. Well datz my and her speculation. I'll be on da hunt 4 more info guyz. Peace!

    Like I said before, in my opinion, I don't care for the design of the twins (I'm hoping they get killed off quickly as not to embarrass the Autobots and ruin it for the audiences).

    But I'll accept them in the movie if they are contrasted with the awesome-looking Soundwave, Jetfire and other sweet transformers.
