Run Shia Run

PhillyFilmGirl has posted a new video that is from the Princeton Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen shoot back in June 2008 that is a new angle on the Alice video from June. The video shows Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Ramon Rodriguez running (in multiple takes). Towards the end, Isabel Lucas does her calm walk despite the surrounding chaos, a large reason behind the theory that she is "Pretender Shell" for Ravage.

  1. I dunno about a calm walk. The way she's a bit hunched over and poised, it looks more deliberate and directional, like a Terminator stalking the prey.

I agree, she's probably a Pretender by just watching the footage. What or how she's reacting to or not reacting to, it's anyone's guess without seeing the CG elements in play.

I dont think that footage means "Alice" is anything.

If she was a "Pretender" then why are more people running away from something as she leaves the courtyard.

It could be there is a big Decepticon there.

And who said, that this is the scene, where she will show us, that she is a pretender? She walks calmly, becase no matter what's happening, Decepticons wont hurt her.

    Maybe she destroyed something.

Yeah, and maybe Shia & Co. saw her do it, but everyone else didn't and is just running away from whatever she did, not knowing that the girl they are running past is "The Pretender".

  9. I like this Pretender idea. It makes it easier for the Decepticons to capture Sam, since he doesn't know anything about her being a pretender or a decepticon. Whatever you want to call her.

  10. Female pretender shell for a cassette-former? Hmm...no THIS DON'T WORK!

And, uh, why...? I mean, other than "I DoN'T LiKE it :(((("?

Yeah, and he also doesn't know anything about girls either!

I was just saying that Frenzy is about that size and there was a clip of something like him in Princeton that was clawing at the windshield of a car. Is it just coincidence that they were both on the same set?

  17. Hey I know this is not really related to the topic above, but I wanted to throw out the idea that the "Soundwave" toy could be a "The Fallen" toy. I was just re-looking at the comic drawing of The Fallen and then looking at the "Soundwave" toy and there are a lot of similarities. I could see the toy model being a Michael Bay version of The Fallen. They might be pissed that The Fallen was leaked and called it Soundwave to cover their asses. Just an idea. I personally hope this is true because I did not care for the toy being Soundwave. Still hoping for his design to be taken by certain fan made designs. If someone could put a side by side comparison of the comic The Fallen and the "soundwave" toy that would be a good discussion. -Windcharger85

Maybe Sam and Co. sees a Decepticon in alt mode and he has them to start running. While they are running Sam runs into Alice and either makes her spill something on herself or knocks her down.

She gets up and starts skulking in their direction pissed off.

Meanwhile, the Decepticon transformers and start tearing things up looking for Sam. People start running and go past Alice who is at that unaware of what is going on.

  20. Maybe Alice is just really really really horny for Sam. ^_^

    Like, scary horny.

  21. I don't believe that Ravage is Alice. Hint 1 is that Ravage isn't female transformer and hint 2 is that Ravage has't robot mode. He is just like Scorponok. He has only beast mode, no robot mode. But now I believe that whatever is Alice's real name, he is a Decepticon.

  22. Wait a second, Alice ran same way than students. I was wrong. Perhaps she is not a Decepticon, but being fearless proves butt she's being a Pretender.

    1) Why the hell does Ravege need to be a female TF, to pretend (PRETEND) that he is a female human?

    2) How do you know, that he hasn't got a robot mode? You saw the movie before us, or what?

If she is after Sam, who went THAT way, why would she go the OTHER way?

Geez, people, just think for a second, before you post something...

  24. Hmm...interesting, definitely interesting.

While the video does lend some definite possibility to the Pretender theory, I'm wondering if there isn't a more mundane explanation behind Alice's walk. I'm no judge of character or acting, but her walk seems driven more by suffering a major ditching/disappointment/"Frag, my plan didn't work"-type thing than anything else...

Humans can be just as devious as Decepticons, and I'm wondering if it was a personal motive driving her, is all.

Of course, the "Frag, my plan didn't work"-thing could equally apply to her possibly being a Pretender and some fellow Decepticon tearing the place to pieces. But there is also a possibility it could be something vapid/petty/greedy/stupid behind the sulking walk. Just speculating, that's all. Thoughts/ideas/comments?

  27. She probably broke wind in the classroom and Shia, Ramon and Megan were closest to the door.

    :)

Seriously, I think this movie will rule. Soundwave, Starscream, Ravage/Alice, something Fallen and even angrier robots. Mmmm, I'm in love with it already. If the trailer hits the Superbowl I demand that at least one of you americans record it and put it up on the Tube or elsewhere. I would definatly love you for that (I am also very good at massaging).

  28. Spoilers and current cast list on imdb.com already told us that there is a military robotics Corporation in the plotline, an actor playing the CEO of that fictional Corporation in the movie is listed in the cast.
So, let's suppose that this Corporation has access to Sector7 studies on Megatron and who knows what else, let's suppose that they want to create a final weapon using Decepticons technology and parts of the dead enemies.. which would mean not everything rests in the deep sea forever...
Whatever, let's suppose that they manage to experiment and create a transformer that can turn into human form and mimic it perfectly...
If that was the case I'd suppose that the best fit for the plot would be that when the greedy CEO comes in contact with Starscream and other Decepticons wanting something from him instead of being scared to die he would be proposing an agreement and maybe get some additional support for the human-transformer experiment, sending her into a mission to get info from Sam along with the Decepticons...
That would make Alice something new.. Pretender-like but not built by Decepticons directly, still a menace anyway....
It could just be an explanation of what the writers alongs with Bay and Spielberg could have decided to do...

This biplane is a little ugly in robot mode, but have an interesting alt mode IMO.
