Transformers The Game Screenshot
IGN has posted a screenshot from Transformers The Game which is based on the upcoming live action movie. No indication is made if the screenshot is for the XBox 360 or PS3. Nor does it indicate if the shot is actual game play or part of a rendered cut-scene. If had to hazard a guess, I am thinking its not actual game play but hopefully I am wrong as the screenshot looks pretty sweet in the detail.

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like it's pre-rendered to me....unless if the image was taken from a very big screen and in the compression to get it smaller cause the edges to not look fully antialiased. Also the road right at the camera looks pretty bad for a pre-rendered shot....again, could have been because of the compression.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think it's during a transformation sequence... his doors are pointing down and the parts around his legs aren't set in the right places, they're kinda just hanging out there.
Anyway, looks awesome to me...makes me wish I had a now-current-gen console. :)
It better come out for the Wii, dammit!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like his alt mode in this shot is the beat up ol' mustang he is early in the film. That could be why parts seem to be hanging off him.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't a Mustang...he was an old Camaro...and even if it is his old version (IE: probably beginning of the game), he still didn't have parts 'hanging' in what I've previously seen...a few plates are a different size/shape, but that's it. It just looks like the tail end of his transformation to me.
