I can see why the police is concerned as people do commit crimes pretending to be police. I also wouldn't mind having some of those decals on my car. Just not the police one. Thanks to Maximus for the info.

Barricade Found In New Mexico
A fan of Transformers took tings a bit far by modding his car to look exactly like Barricade from Transformers. Barricade being the one that looks like a police car. Its not quite the same make and model but its close enough to anger local police in Las Vegas. Below is the story from KRGE news.

Man...that's complete crap... He even has TRANSFORMERS written on the doors and his windshield! The cop cars there don't even look like that....I hope he wins

It's very gray here. There are police cars that are regular cars, but only has the sirens when the cops put it on. He's not trying to be a cop though...just a transformer...haha. I think this guy is starting trouble, but he has a right to and we can't really do anything about it.
ReplyDeleteIde say ditch the giant tacky "police" decal and leave the crest and the "to punish and enslave" decal. The car is already a standard 6 banger stang with base model rims. It's nowhere near accurate to just give it up.

ReplyDeleteI like a game which you need usemaplemesosto play. If you want to be online to play this game, I can borrow mesosto you. When you have cheap mesos, and than you can go on this game. Of cause, when you are first to play, you can maplestory mesos. If you have enoughmaple story mesos, you will be able to different games.
ReplyDeleteI live in California and I have transformed my wife's and my fj cruiser to mimic Barricade too. I did some research before forking out the cash for the "proper" decals and sticking them on our new vehicles. The local law said it would only be against the law IF we tried to impersonate an officer of the law and/or IF we had the large letters spelling out POLICE on the vehicles. I think this guy is just another Transformer goober like us and he may have went a little over board when he added the word police on the sides. I also think he should check out ebay for the exact duplicate emblems of Barricade. Good job and good luck......
