Wednesday brings the next issue of Transformers: RoTF Prequel Alliance #4 issue to comic books stores all over the place. IDW has posted a 5 page preview of the issue here. Alliance is the prequel series that takes immediately following the end of the first movie. The first three issues covered the aftermath of the battle at Mission City in the movie, the dumping of Decepticons at sea, and the dissolution of Sector Seven. It appears that this issue covers the formation of NEST or at least an early version of it with the goal to seek out all Decepticons on the planet.

cant wait to read it... hey tflive how come you dont update the characters from the Alliance comics? its still part of the movie-tie in right? even if they dont make it to the movie later this June...
ReplyDeleteI agree Carnivac...
ReplyDelete<3!
ReplyDeleteI must have it!
I need to get a job so I can start buying these things again.
These Comics are so good it's crazy.
ReplyDeleteI have to get this on payday. Maybe today if the budget fits.
Anyway, I am now starting to see that bumblebee using songs to talk will work out just fine in the 2nd film. Also I am glad to see there are some normal sized decepticons on earth running around hiding and stuff. Sounds really cool. That car chase seems awesome.

Essex - All I wana see in this last issue of Alliance are new Autobots... It'd be awesome
ReplyDeleteThe artwork for me is some of the best in the ROTF series. I love how optimus rammed into that little decep punk. Optimus can be a beast when he wants to.
ReplyDelete@ Counterpunch I don't think we are going to see anyone new, they gotta leave that for the movie.
The only thing that makes me sad is knowing that the video game is going to suck ass. Can we do something about that? If they could make the game have a feel similiar to Alliance then it would be awesome.
give the contract to Capcom.
well its gonna be 32 pages so I shall have a lil bit of hope to know a few Autobot protoforms makes it to Earth in the comic...
ReplyDeleteYeah its funny when Swindle knew he was in deep, deep trouble coming across Prime & seeing Dead End... well he seems like he's dead to me being rammed head on like that. Good job!
i assumed we would see new autobots 'cus they are shown on the cover, but that doesn't make it definite i guess. i did notie the cover at the site linked didn't have jolt like the other versions of it i've seen!
ReplyDeleteI am going to do a track about ROTF.
ReplyDeleteHopefully I will have it done by next week.
Replying to Essex:
ReplyDeleteWhat sort of Track? Will you upload it here or add a link please!
Alliance #4 confirms Ice Cream Truck = Mudflap and Skidz
ReplyDeleteReplying to Selective Ralism:
ReplyDelete:) Atleast they combine! I hope they have a toy version!
Selective Realism - Now we know the ice cream truck is an Autobot but I dont think they are the twins. On the last page of the comic you can see the silhoutte of Arcee & the 2 bikers, Sideswipe & another Autobot right next to Prime. Who is that? If it is the twins we'd see 2 new bots too...
ReplyDeleteonline version of this comic anyone? :(

Crapy ending to a crapy series. Defiance is waaay more interesting than Alliance.
ReplyDeletehave to now agree with the above post.
ReplyDeletei liked alliance because i thought i was on the verge of knowing something crucial, some cool information just around the corner.
but as the last issue has now hit, i find that it has never ended up saying anything.
but now we are confirmed its Arcee & 2 other cycle bots. They do retain their wheel in robot mode. *groan*...
ReplyDeletewonder who the ice cream truck is?
"wonder who the ice cream truck is?"

ReplyDeleteActually the reason why Bay didn't have Arcee in the first film was they didn't have enough time for explanations and that she was too small. In this film Arcee is made up of Three of these bikes believed to be Chromia, Elita-1 or Moonracer and Firestar.
Elita 1 died in 'Reign of Starscream, Scorp...
