I've noticed several updated shots in the Showest footage compared to the first trailer. Attached is an example of Optimus getting kicked in the head with added dirt and grass, more "blood" and darker in general. Other shots are the one of Ravage walking on the beach which had water added dripping off him and the Fallen's teleporting has been changed slightly.

ReplyDeleteya it could be oil or some other substants in a car. hey does any one know if Anthony Andersan is voicing MudFlap? on wikipedia on mudflap it says that Anthony Andersan will be voicing him. if he is voicing him, that would make him a character from the 1st movie who voices a transformer, and if John Turturro is confirmed to voice JetFire thats two characters from the 1st movie that voice a transformer in ROTF

The Fallen picture is SOOOOOO...awesome! :D
However I don't care for the lighting of the top/new picture of Ravage. I like the added dripping water effects, but the lighting isn't as good.
It's nice to see some of those alterations. It can give hope to the unfinished shots of 'Devastator and 'Prime vs. Megatron and the wall' shots (which looked sweet despite not being finished.)
Also, if the new image has dirt and grass on Prime, do you think that this shot occurs AFTER he was sent tumbling toward camera and spat out his tooth? (There could be various shots of Prime being hit/kicked and sent flying that have been edited together in different ways)

ReplyDeleteI've just dragged those into Photoshop and dropped one over the other to compare them better. Optimus & Ravage both similar except for the oil, the water effects etc. But the Fallen one is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT... as if they've completely revised the 3D model. Note his elbows/arms, his left knee, and his head. He's also got much more bulk on his back in the top pic.

It's probably oil, or probably Bay wants to put more emphasis on these robots who can really get the s*** kicked out of them and spew out blood. But I have no problem with bleeding transformers. It tells us how much "alive" they really are. They are alien robots afterall...
i think they had to reedit some things from the footage we saw a few days ago such as rampage being red and not yellow like his vehicle mode. same with mudflap isn't he supposed to be orange and it this picture he's red

Which means he makes it out of the fight scene with Megs, Starscream, and Blackout in the forrest. I'd say unless there's some huge climactic sacrifice at the end of the movie, Prime makes it out to see TF3 alive.
ya if you ask me, Prime survives ROTF but i think we all know that he will die in TF3. im still thinking that the fallen will die in ROTF. and megatron is once again the big guy and possibley Unicron

What does Ravage change into becuse in the film he is only a Panther and a Missile (When fired from Soundwave)

ReplyDeleteI think that it red Constructicon is Scavenger. Rampage is yellow, because that bulldozer Rampage as Devastator's leg is yellow, not red. And I think that it's Scavenger, because he's only Constructicon who is red like Demolishor.

-2. It also looks like it's part of a series judging again by the top left corner.

ReplyDeleteSorry i researched it more and it turned out to be one of the movie adaption comic cover concept fan designs although i here there is a four part TF2 adaption comic. Although i have no idea if that is also true.

Metroplex would need to be apposuletly huge atleast the size of TF2`s Devastator. Ultra Magnus could work however he would need to have the trailer that becomes part of him aswell otherwise he would be a copy of prime. If Optimus Prime does survive this film then i dont see him having a combining trailer in the next unless Jetfire dies in this film.
