The image to the left and the video below is a street view of the set that was shown off in a few images last week. No telling what the story is about but it seems that Chicago is the ground zero location for much of the action in the movie. Thanks to Mauricio for the video link and to Chris_Ciaccia for the picture.

Transformers 3 Chicago Set Video
Starting this weekend, Transformers 3 production will invade Chicago to being a six week shoot in the city. As prep for that, a location has already been prepped to show off debris and smashed cars from a probable Decepticon attack. I believe the images from the other day are from the same location but where those showed mostly impact craters, these show off the effects of a damaged building on a parking lot.

I think that we could have done with just the pic. The commentary and vid from the dorks was unnecessary. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure they are doubling chicago for Russia as it was announced a while back. I mean that new hot chick side kick kind of looks russian and maybe thats where the action is. Sam could also be studying abroad because they are not going to fast forward 4 years to after he graduated. i Figure they will do something like that, we'll see
ReplyDeleteSweet gonna be up there this weekend. Leaving in just a couple hours. Kick ass if I can get some shots of this.
ReplyDelete@ the@ss: Well, they made a Point, that the debris looked like the Front of a Corresponding Building, so it's quite a fitting Information.
ReplyDeleteThe intro to the Scenery wasn't really nessesary, but I'm happy with any TF-Information unlike you, so it doesn't bother me like it does you.
In the End, we got the Info that these Cars get crushed by the Debris falling from that Partially or totally destroyed Building on the parking-lot, showing that there might be actually more destruction in this one.
Anyone know the exact location of these pictures?
