Transformers 4 Shoot Begins in May

In an video interview (below) with Collider, Mark Walhberg commented on how he joined the cast of Transformers 4 and revealed that the current plan is to start filming the movie in May 2013.
“That’s why Transformers came about, because we had such a great time working together [on Pain and Gain]. We kind of complemented each other throughout the entire process, what he does and what I do and what we were able to do together, and then after that I was like ‘Dude we gotta work together again,’ and he was like, ‘Well I got a project, you interested?’ (laughs)”

“We’re shooting Transformers in May, and then I believe we’re gonna do Ted 2 right after. They’re working on it now and we’ve kind of gone through the negotiation process. The great thing about it is Seth’s ideas for the second one are sick. He comes from the world of episodic television so he knows how to tell the stories, man, in a way that most people don’t, like for instance The Italian Job we’ve been trying to do the sequel for 10 years. He’s a different kind of guy.”

  2. The making may look promising but the actual movie is going to turn out to be the same old Micheal Bay TRASH. Just like the past 3 he has done its time that Bay did something else. They should wait for about 4 years or so and start all over do a reboot you know new cast, new story, new director and with all of that you may get a hell of a movie but above that make more time of what people came to see TRANSFORMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. That's what Transformers 4. It may be a sequel, but it's also a form of a reboot in a sense. All new cast for humans, supposedly new cast for robots. New direction for the film. I, for one am actually excited to see what Michael Bay can do. And yes, I'm a fan of all of the Transformers movies. My like or dislike transcends the actual move. What I love is the robots and the personifications of the robots. And I for one, think Michael Bay has done a good job at that, regardless of story. Can't wait to see more.

    1. But in the past three movies you don't see the robots as much or really get to know them. Bay has got you fooled and hes doing it to you again Erik. Yes sure their a new cast but its going in the same direction and he told us this before for the last movie and look how it turn out.
