More Images, Videos from Transformers 4 in Chicago (Updated)

Transformers 4 finished its first weekend of filming in Chicago and by all appearances it was an exciting one with most of the core cast showing up, explosives set off, the Autobot vehicles on display, and more. Most of the Saturday and Sunday filming involved filming inside of buildings so not as much for the public to see but there are still some photos. The pics show the first time Kelsey Grammer has been seen on a Transformers 4 set.

They also give us a look at the Autobot vehicles, Stanley Tucci, his character's 3 assistants (Melanie Specht, Abigail Klein, and Victoria Summer), Kelsey Grammar, and Mark Wahlberg. To view the full galleries of images from this weekend, click the links below. Also below is a video found by Feris O. of the Autobot vehicles when they were in Detroit. Its a few weeks old but gives you a nice long look at the cars.

Update: Another gallery link has been added along with videos (via Seibertron) below that include an up close look at "Propaganda Wall" on Columbus Drive.

  1. Concept arts of Motormaster (Freightliner) and Drift: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/attachments/transformers-movie-discussion/27386915d1377482204-motormaster-concept-art-image.jpg https://sphotos-b-atl.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/q71/s720x720/574513_492853647466559_985135366_n.jpg Don't know if those are real or just fan art, but if they're real, Motormaster is just production name, since concept art used production names in previous films too.

    1. But Drift not production name. Call sheet already confirmed it.

    2. Forget it. It was just fan art. They look too much like these: http://ruanxiaoguo.cgsociety.org/gallery/890345/

  2. Anyone think the Bugatti would be cool as Smokescreen?

    1. Would be cool as Smokescreen, Wheeljack, Blur (without the goofy fast talking schtick), Bluestreak, is rumored to be Drift.. We'll see.. Bay has changed their names last minute before.

It almost seems as if they are somewhat following the Prime cartoon. I actually liked the character Bulkhead. Would be interesting to see him have a bigger roll and really knock the snot of some stuff.

  3. Safe to say this is the scene where Bumblebee transcans into his new vehicle mode.

    2. Glad I am not the only one that thought that, it makes sense given the two camaros.

    3. Yep, that is the only logical explanation, unless Bay has created some random Autobot from his imagination who is Bumblebee's little brother or something.

  4. First it was Megan Fox, then Rosie Huntington-Whitely and now Abigail Klein, one of the three assistants for Stanley Tucci, damn she is hot as!! The red head is not bad either. Bay always gets the women right, but never a good grounding story, hopefully he proves us all wrong with this one!

  6. I hope the lack of primes trailer on sets is because they are saveing money by doing it in cgi or it wont make sence for him to have had it in 3.

Yeah I hope so to. I don't mind if it's not in the movie all the time, but won't make any sence indeed to have it in DOTM.
All Prime's bigger weapons and flighttech are in it.
Or maybe it got destroyed by the Driller, that would be plausible.

    2. not likeiy since he went back for it an was using the tec after the driller scene plus they created the story line that the power of the trailer came from jetfire an the matrix so not having it wont make sence
