New Optimus Rides Grimlock Poster for Transformers: Age of Extinction

A new poster has appeared online for Transformers: Age of Extinction. It depicts what is quickly becoming the signature image of the film with knight Optimus riding his horse...I mean Grimlock into battle.

  1. So we have to result to making fake posters to give ourselves some entertainment now huh? Man this buildup has been so wack for this installment. Boring!

  4. I don't mind the size difference between Grimmy and Prime (when the D'bots obviously scanned/copied prehistoric creatures such as t'rex or t'tops) there would be no reason for them to be a different to the originals and nothing such as tractor-trailers would have existed thus it wouldn't have been an issue -- but man I hope they don't start messing with the size-shifting. If they're so different in size in one mode - leave that size difference the same in the other mode. There's obviously a larger 'Con threat we don't know about yet (cudos on keeping a character secret thru all the production - even if all CGI) otherwise Grimlock might have well as stayed in stasis !

  5. has anyone gone to the lengths of theoretically working out how tall Grimlock will be in 'bot mode based on alt.mode and Prime's 'bot height ?

  6. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-just-movie-31/frito-lay-transformers-4-age-of-extinction-campaign-images-first-look-at-slog-179909/

it almost looks like Slug (if you follow the link) is a mix between Slag and Sludge -- with the long (extending ??) neck... or is Slog/Sludge going to make a special-guest appearance ? Can't see there being 5 dino's - was only expecting 3 in the first place (I wouldn't be surprised if the little raptor-bot (Slash ?) isn't a film character tho

    1. Maybe Slash is bigger than he looks. Of course definitely not as big as Grimlock or Slug or Scorn.

  7. Oops - I meant to say I can't see there being SIX dino's (grimlock/slug/strafe/scorn/slash AND 'slog') and was only expecting 3 max(imals) ;)

Looking forward to seeing their robot modes in CGI... !

    1. If Slog appears in film, he must so big that his robot mode won't be seen in the film. Grimlock is the only one who looks like his robot mode would appear.

    2. Updated. Snarl's dino mode is revealed. A hybrid of Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus.
