Turns out the teaser trailer was released today and with it comes news of additional cast members. New to us is David Sobolov (Blitzwing in Bumblebee) voicing Rhinox and Battletrap, Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) as Scourge, the movies big bad, and Liza Koshy (Family Affiar) as Arcee. Ad to that there is Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Luke Cage) as Nightbird, Cristo Fernández as Wheeljack (Ted Lasso), Tobe Nwigwe (yep the rapper) as Reek, and John DiMaggio (Futurama) as Stratosphere.
Previously known voice cast members are Michelle Yeoh as Airazor, Pete Davidson as Mirage (not Jazz despite looking like Jazz), Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal. Overall a much more mixed cast of experienced voice actors and regular actors then Transformers films have used in the past.
The film is set in the 90s and will hit theaters on June 9, 2023.
