Our client has requested the removal of several images that were leaked illegally. The images in question are owned by Hasbro and Dreamworks Animation. They depict Transformers 2 toys from the upcoming film and feature watermarks that are plainly visible in several shots.So there you go, the first robotic images of Transformers 2 are officially confirmed. Hopefully the toys will be better then matchbox style :P.

I completely understand that posting these images helps create hype and that your site has no intent to violate copyright laws (ed - good to know they realize this). Recent Toy, Robot Images Real
I just recieved a polite take down noticed from Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks and Hasbro requesting that I remove the recent pictures of the robot mode for the Audi R8, Chevy Trax and the Corvette Centennial. Per DMCA, I have to comply but its nice to get confirmation that those robot and toy images are 100% legit. Apparently there are watermarks confirming they are from one of the above companies but I can't see them.

ReplyDeleteanyway, well, they could've at least let those pics flow around the nets cause if they taking an legal action against those pics, then its obviously it is a confirmed TF 2 robot mode.
The fact that they didn't request for Devastator pictures to be removed means nothing. Those images could be just some early sample concepts and the actual version is probably way different than it. Also, from those pictures that's not the whole Devastator for sure, it seems just one of the giant constructicons robots that will merge with the others to bring it to life.

ReplyDeleteWas Prowl not the proud owner of 'wheel-feet' which benefitted him? I think the design would make an awesome Prowl (forgetting it not being a police car)... and his samurai appearance totally goes with Prowl's character. I do hope this is real and I do hope this is Prowl.
Wheel-feet have proved to be a good idea... they worked well for Bonecrusher and looked good on Jazz (especially when he rolled his foot over that junk-car's bonnet whilst asking "What's cracking little bitches?" (Autobot's intro in TF1).
Here's hoping! Anyone out there agree?
I didn't even think he could be Prowl! Now that you mention it, it makes total sense! OMG... Sexy scissors bot... please be Prowl.... And please don't get killed off. Bay killed Jazz because he thought he would be the second most popular that wouldn't kill the plot if he died...

even polite takedown notices from paramount doesnt neccesarily make it 100% confirmed... if i was paramount i would do it anyways even if it was fake..just to give the illusion of it being real....to keep with the whole misinformation thingy.

I have theories that Chevrolet Trax Autobot might be Tracks and Audi R8 Decepticon might be Kickback. Kickback is on Transformers G1 one of the Insecticons. That Audi r8 decepticon looks like Barricade, but those car doors on that robot looks like wings of grasshopper. tht's why I think that Audi r8 decepticon is Kickback.
