More Transformers Pics

The Lunchables site put up some wallpaper that shows some new stances for 4 Transformers including Ratchet, which was missing from the previous hi-res pics. I find it intersting that someone went through the trouble to design a logo for each character. Now I want to know what the logos for the others look like.

  1. is it me, or does ratchet look like its from the video game?

look at him closely, like his forward foot

maybe thats y he wasent in original set of high res pics?

or maybe im just seeing things..

I think the transformers all look great BUT

frenzy looks like shit..maybe running on all 4's or climbing a wall or some shit it would be scary.. i guess

Jazz's mouth looks weird to me.. like not kinda weird, but it looks reallly strange in my opinion...

or maybe its cuz hes got a stupid smirk on his face in the high res pic.. who knows

Optimus Prime... hmm the best way to put how I feel about him is...

Ok,look at batman 1 the movie, then look at batman and Robin... There both still batman, but......'

He wouldn't ever do stupid poses, he is too Thin... he is supposted to just tower over most of every autobot and alot of decipticons...if the rumor is true that he steps on spikes mothers garden and says "Opps my bad" is true, he WOULD NEVER DO THAT
He always held his compositor.. kinda like the lead spartian in 300

THey should have added like a tralor hitch into his transformation to add mass... like an empty flatbed trailor, like ffs hes supposted to be huge!

he looks smaller or hte same size as every other transformer...

  3. surely the image of starscream isn't taken from the movie... i prey it's taken from the video game cos with all the bits juttin out her and there... it just don't look right. having finally understand what is goin on with ironhide's face... why the hell have they made him look like a cow?! he has the massive black nose; and they've even gone and given him hooves as well!! i know he's suppose t be the type of cowboy warrior, but surely there's no need to make him look bovine!! on the shot of him posing, its impossible to tell which way he's standing!

unfortunately these shots have not instilled any confidence in this movie... as much as it pains me to say so. i just think they've completely missed the point with the designs. i read somewhere the designers didn't want the bots to be recognisable in robot mode... WHY THE HELL NOT? if something changes into a hummer (humV to you yanks) then how can it NOT be recognised as a jumbled up hummer when its walking?! colour alone is not sufficient to achieve this! after seeing starscream swing round the bridge i thought he looked great but now, i'm slightly concerned! and there is not a cat in hell's chance that megatron can change into anything remotely airborne!

god know's what they're gonna make cybertron look like! :0(

  4. there's so many different images of prime floating about its hard t know which is the real one!

this image here better not be the final design as he is far too skinny! they really have missed the boat with the designs! part n parcel of the transformer concepts was identifying their alt modes whilst in bot mode! for them to have gone on the right track i think they should have made the designs so they toys could be transformed in exactly the same way! i mean take the two prime toys; voyager and leader (or something like that)! on one of them his arms come from under the hood, and his legs form the cabin. on the other his arms form part of the cabin and his legs come from under the hood! which way will the film version transform? tried working it out many times by watchin the released tv spots, etc... but its impossible! if anyone can indicate how movie prime will transform please do tell! i get the feeling the trasformations will happen too quick for us to be able to tell whats happening! i mean watching starscream transform was just impossible. you just hear a noise then the next thing he's stood on the bridge. something tells me these 80mph transformations arent going to be everything they're cracked up to be! can't believe i'm saying this but i don't know if i'm gonna enjoy this film because of all this! i really do hope i'm wrong :0(

  5. Shut the fuck up you fucking haters!!! Get off of this website!!!

Grow up. Come to reality and face facts that the transformers you grew up with aren't in this movie. Period. It's different interpretation and I think it's going to be a fun movie. So shut the hell up and let the rest of us enjoy this, you assholes!!

  6. shouldn't it be megatron who has the canon on his arm, and not ironhide?

  7. Wow.

"Shut the fuck up you fucking haters!!! Get off of this website!!!"

What a horrible reaction to someone's comments. Don't act so foolish. It's a real shame you take this so personal. I think people have more of a right to express a little disappointment than you have a right to call people names.

This person who said "there's so many different images of prime floating about its hard t know which is the real one!" has done nothing wrong. They are not a hater. They express no hate, unlike you. You acted like a 3rd grader acting like a big baby.

This is a movie called Transformers. Get it. People might expect to see them in it. Get it. Got it? Good. You're a nice kid, and I'm sure you didn't mean it. You're IP address was logged I'm sure, and with a few hundred dollars anyone could get your information from your provider by filing a Joe Doe law suite based on your threatening message. Not me, but someone.

People grew up expecting some stories to be made into movies. When people were told to expect a Transformer movie, that's what they expected. That is not exactly what happened. If people like you didn't expect a backlash from that they are about as sharp are a sack full of wet mice. Maybe even less smart than that.

At any point you feel the need to express your spleen digitally by making a complete ass of yourself here, post more messages like that. You amuse me. :)

I agree the movie will be exceptional in many ways. I also cannot ignore the fact that many of the constants of the Transformer's universe have been overlooked. I also cannot ignore that most of the robots, and a few of the cars, are pure ugly in the way only a mother could beat to death. But that's okay, they were meant to be more alien and alien is ugly until you look at it long enough.

I expect and hoped for something wonderful from this movie. There is something amazing that takes place when a highly popular idea has been burned into the global conscience and is then translated into a amazing movie by someone who knows what the story means to people. This was the case with The Lord Of Rings, as one example. It's the intersection of a great story, a great movie maker, and a great script. It's not important to change things. It's hugely popular for what it is. The best job it to faithfully translate it from one medium to an other.

That is exactly what people expected. They have not been looking on the web for spoiler details. They know how the movie should go and expect everything to go right, as it did (for the most part) with Spiderman. Having Peter Parker change into a real spider would have been fun, but it would not have been the move people expect/wanted.

Expect thousands of people to check the computer as July 4th 2007 gets closer. And for the first time they will see what this movie is about. What will hit them first was that it was a movie so easy to get right and so hard to get wrong. Wrong from their perspective. Most Transformer fans are casual fans that don't go online for a Transformer fix. I stupidly only learned the details of the movie about 2 weeks ago.

My personal opinion is that Hasbro has permanently damaged their name, the Transformer band, and the global icons that are the Transformers. I just don't think it will be clear for years to come when they are looking back. But I could be completely wrong.

  8. "if anyone can indicate how movie prime will transform please do tell!"

I can help you. You have exactly the same question that will be foremost in the minds of all common sense individuals. As we know Transformers are a puzzle. The gimmick being that the toys Transform much like their on screen counter parts.

This is not the case with the movie. In the movie they cheated. The Transformation is artistic and cool in it's own way, but it is not the Transformer way, so don't expect that. They Transform with the "skin" of the car/plane/board/other thing splitting apart and slithering all around. They patted themselves on the back for this effect, in fact. They completely missed that the Transformation might be central to the Transformers. You thought nobody could miss that, well they did.

The sort answer is: The morph with stuff crawling all over them.

I really doubt that could make a toy do that. What's next? A Hulk that's tiny and a Bruce Banner that huge! Ya! Ya! People will eat that up.

Honestly I don't know what they were thinking and half the time I fear knowing would only make me think they're more stupid.

I still think movie will be great, but branding it a Transformer movie was a huge mistake because that is not what they are rolling into the theaters. Why they feel the need to fuck with our childhoods and think we're stupid enough not to notice might just be unmitigated hubris. As if we're just marching morons that can tell the difference. Are we?

Look, if you don't like this sort of thing or think the movie has not met your expectation just email Hasbro directly. It's their brand. Movie makers don't care. Even if the movie does poor they're been paid more than you make.

  9. Would you rather Ironhide have to his hands slide back into his forears and to magical guns come out to replace them, like in the cartoon?

No one can make a design of ANYTHING that 100% of the fan base can be enthusiastic about. Sure, you whien and complain about it on here, but realise there are more people who actually like how everyone looks, just dotn come on here and preach it, because, well, people who are content abou tthings don't usualy talk abuot it, it's just the whiners who want the world to know that they dont liek something

  10. You want to praise of complain about the movie. Here is the person to contact. Doubt even he could do anything about it.

Chief Exec. Officer, Pres, Director and Member of Exec. Committee

    401-431-8697

hahaha, now you are just being funny. Nobody expect them to do such a thing in a movie. We assumed they could engineer something, by ummm...using engineers.

Come on, $150,000,000 and all you can come up with is robo-confetti?? That's it. It too bad. I'm sure we all expected more of an engineering triumph than a cop-out.

  12. The Transformers has always been fcuked with after the ending of G1 in the US.... but aside from that, Unicron was the first to truly show how they all transform...with so many parts that no one can actually count. Every single Transformer from G1 always had parts that couldn't possibly move the way they did or parts that extended/shrank/whatever to fit their other form (if they did it exactly how the toys looked, it would have never caught on).. and how do you think the parts 'morphed'?..with a crap load of small parts that the animators couldn't animate due to limited resources.

  13. The Transformers movie was awsome, mike bay did great to bring the old with the new and the desgns of the transformers captures the feel of the origonal robots. Jaz for me is the one that looks the most like the origonal. The flames on optimus is a nice toutch, it kind of looks like ribs. grat work mike hope the second is betterv than the first. se ya later.
