Philly.com is reporting that Transformers II production is starting production in Philadelphia, PA starting today. The exact schedule is not know but locations they plan on hitting over the next week or so is PECO Power Plant along the Delaware River, the University of Pennsylvania, and Eastern State Penitentiary. My understanding is that production will hit UPENN either the 11th or 12th but how long they will be there and what is occurring before and after is not known. The picture is from this site, which is just a guess on the location they are referring to as the PECO Power Plant.

TF2 Arrives in Philadelphia
Philly.com is reporting that Transformers II production is starting production in Philadelphia, PA starting today. ReplyDeleteHmmm. . .A Steel Mill and a Power Plant. Wonder if one of these places is the Autobots' base of operations in the 2nd film, as they didn't have one in the first movie, since there was no Ark.

Ummm.. Isnt that the Peco Plant right out side of Philly?? The one in Chester, PA???? If so they better make sure all is locked up good and tight.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering about a possible connection: since Rainn Wilson will playing a professor in this film at a fictional university, and the university set is in Philly, and Rainn Wilson's fictional Dwight Shrute works in Scranton, PA on, "The Office", I wonder if there will be any Dundler-Mifflin references in TF2?

If they are talking about the old-chester peco plant, I work right next door at a waste to energy plant. If you send me an e-mail / update if they are going to be filming there I will bring my camera to work and take alot of photos for this site. JMC51974@YAHOO.COM
