Transformers 3: June 29th, 2011
Dark Horizons reports that a movie release schedule in Germany has the release of Transformers 3 scheduled for June 29th 2011. Sadly the site didn't mention or link to their source. Nothing wrong with a little confidence that Revenge of the Fallen will be huge enough to warrant immediate start on the next movie which would be the only way to hit that completely un-official date.

Even if it's unofficial, it's still awesome! Transformers Trilogy! I guess we'll find out with TF2 where the storyline will be taken...and hopefully it'll be something new and exciting, but also have the hallmarks of tribute to G1 and Universe!

Wow, why did they set a release date so early for the third? The second has yet to put out a teaser trailer!

Sweet! Now if only we could prove or disprove this, and put our minds to rest. I would've rather they waited until 2012 for the third film and not rush through it.

-Steven Spielberg "promoted" to director and Michael Bay moved to 'Producer' or 'Executive Producer'.(Or at least have Steven Spielberg's influence more prominent.)
-Leonard Nimoy voicing Galvatron.
-Frank Welker voicing Soundwave.
These are my thoughts for the second and third film:
TF:ROTF
-More Autubots come to Earth.
-Starscream returns with a new army of Decepticons and "establishes" himself as the NEW Decepticon leader.
-Soundwave is shown retreiving Megatron's dead body and beginning to rebuild it.
-Unicron and the Fallen are talked about, and their presence is hinted at. (Think Galactus in FF:ROTSS)
-Unicron is established as a credible threat to Earth and Cybertron.
-Soundwave fully repairs Megatron. (His eyes light up, whips out his cannon, "I AM...GALVATRON!" and shoots.
TF3
-Galvatron gets his revenge against Starscream.
-The Autobots and Decepticons "team-up" to defeat Unicron.
Yes, I do realize that a lot is missing and could be added to my ideas, but this is just a summary.
Let me know your ideas.
Oh! I almost forgot. This is my idea for the title of the third film:

ReplyDeleteTo Tylermirage: I love the original movie too. So I would not mid some homages. With that being said... I would rather see Galvatron as a seperate entity altogether. Part of me want them to expand on the whole "brother," line from the original movie. Perhaps create some craziness causing Prime and Megatron to unite against... Galvatron and Ultra Magnus (maybe some sort of old generation/new generation theme)..... maybe not.
ReplyDeleteIf it were to follow the typical trilogy model, I don't think "Our Darkest Hour" would work, mainly because it conveys no sense of hope. Maybe another tribute title would work like, "Beyond Vector Sigma," or since we have had the Fallen, "Rise of the.... (insert new bot type or variety, like predacons, or Maximals, or minicons.....er... scrath that last one).

In any case, I'm so pumped that we're hopefully gonna get a nice, three-film story arc. Now if they just KEEP it there and don't drag it on endlessly a la Star Trek before the reboot.
I want to see Omega Supreme in the third if they actually have to deal with Unicron, Ultra Magnus, or Galvatron. Anyway, i hope they actually lean towards getting to a third movie. It would be Awesome!!!

Hm... I'm begining to wonder what the next thing (or whatever) they are gonna have to get this time... All-Spark and the Martix are checked of, what next? And with The Fallen gone, will Unicron make an appreance? 8D That would pwn if he did! And add some TFA charries in there to. Like Blurr, Blitzwing, Shockwave and Lugnut, and have Starscream try and back-stab Meggs... OOHOOH I WANT THEM TO HURRY UP WIF DAT MOVIE! XD God... I stalk this info
