IDW has posted five pages from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Adaptation #1 issue that will be out in comic stores starting May 20th. Unlike the novels, the comic adaptation doesn't need the same lead time so it is probably based on a more current version of the film script but not necessarily the final cut of the film. In a way the various adaptations provide an interesting look at how a film script evolves over time. The pages can be found here and they do provide a few spoilers. It provides additional confirmation of the Ice Cream Truck being the Twins, suggests that Arcee is all three bikes that share a single mind, and that Stratosphere (who in the movie is probably just a plane, not a TF) has a role in the sense that he provides the air transportation to drop Optimus in position to take on Demolisher. i have a few thihg id like to say-- first, about the video game post, if you ask me this is official confirmation that Breakaway is in the movie. why would thet make him a playable character if hes not in the movie? they wouldnt let you play as a drone if they werent in the movie. and why the fuck cant you play as Sideswipe!!! i was looking forward to it. and wat about playing as the Fallen!!!! WTF!

Now it's more obvious they're talking about the Twins and not themselves and that they're referring to their team or the Twins to "bag him".
Plus, now it also makes more sense that they might be one mind talking and each one is saying part of the sentence while still referring to herself as one with "My play now!".
I still say Boo cause I don't care for the combining thing for her character. :c

Stratosphere still may make a robot appearence. Maybe in the final battle he is the one that shoots that protoform from the trailer. Idk.
Demolisher is pretty small in this. Isn't Sideswipe involved here too? Isn't Sideways supposed to die? The Fallen seems too much like Megatron from movie one (just more powerful).
This movie is being spoiled for me so so much now. Oh well, I just need to stop searching "Transformers Live" and "TFW2005" on Google lol :P

ok OBVIOUSLY Prime doesn't destroy demolisher in the movie because how the hell is he going to form into devastator? lol, yea the comic book has good ideas as to how the movie could go about, BUT i really doubt that is how it's going to be in the movie. BTW..Scorpio isn't a bad guy but that is really low to promote your own blog on this one. It would be different if it was one post but I've seen it in other threads and to top that off...he tells TFLive that he had posted a story on his own blog 4 hours prior. I'm sure the admin here has more on his plate than a kid who jumps at the first bit of news that is shown on other forums. It would be a REAL treat to see him find a story on his own---just my 2 cents

Long Haul, Mixmaster, Rampage we know so far but....I think Hightower {he could be used to prop up Meg's body w/his crane hook} & Scavenger {I say that Soundwave gives him that RH-400 alt mode after Demolishor's death}

ReplyDeleteBUT... Scavenger later arrives and Soundwave gives him the same scanned vehicle data that Demolishor had..
therefore it is Scavenger who forms Devastator, not Demolishor..
Remember all the mix up confusion on why both Demolishor AND Scavenger were on that release poster?
