Below are a few images and the full gallery can be found here.
Update: From the comments, its appears the alt mode has been identified as a Russian Antonov An-225 (or An-225 Mriya). Of course this is 100% verified (but then neither has the toy) but it is the closest I have seen so far. Considering that the Ironhide toys suggests that NEST is a U.N. funded program, it would make sense that foreign aircraft would be needed to transport what I assume are very heavy fleet of Autobots.
If this guy is in the movie, and judging the size comparison between him and the mini Optimus that comes with him, that can be stored IN him, he is going to be REALLY big.
ReplyDeleteBig enough to actually take on Devastator for size, if not, then Demolishor. But definitely, a very big guy.
He looks good, I would say, and here. Yay! We now have another flying Autobot.
Omega Supreme?
ReplyDeleteThis toy is ** FAKE **
ReplyDeleteIt has the worst detail I've seen on a Hasbro release.
1 word---4 syllables for what SHOULD be in the film
"SU-PER-I-ON"
maybe an aerialbot?..cool nontheless..
ReplyDeleteC-17, not C-130.
ReplyDeleteANON 3:18.
ReplyDeleteYou have been served with a notification of a Melvin.
As to the pictures. Every time someone screams "FAKE" it turns out in the end not to be.
Withold judgement.
It's not a fake. Look at his legs and "Mech-Alive" gears in his arms. It's definitely a ROTF and it's really cool. I'm going to make a wild guess that it might be teamed up with the Autobot recon ship and other big guys that'll battle Devastator in the end. Anyway, that's a super-rad TF and I'd be highly amused if his name was Superion or one of the Aerialbot names.
ReplyDeleteSUPERION!!!!
ReplyDeleteOmega Supreme will be in3rd movie if they do one.
ReplyDeleteWhat in the H E double hockey-stix is a "MELVIN"??
ReplyDeleteI've been viewing this gallery & I agree with some....
This fig. does look awful suggesting it may be a fake
Cory,
Riverside CA
The toy doesn't compare with the other TF figures. I call fake.
ReplyDeleteI just remembered something.
ReplyDeleteBlackout was a Voyager class toy that carried a mini Scorponok but the character should have been in a leader class IMO
How is a toy that carries a mini Prime going to fit in the Voyagers class?
FFFFF--FIZZ-AKE!!!
This toy is ** FAKE **
ReplyDeleteIt has the worst detail I've seen on a Hasbro release.
I don't like it, so it must be fake... Great logic.
How is a toy that carries a mini Prime going to fit in the Voyagers class?
ReplyDeleteSince when size in transformers toys matters?
The toy doesn't compare with the other TF figures. I call fake.
ReplyDeleteGod, it's so boring "i don't like him/don't think it compare with the other TF, so it MUST BE A FAKE".
SILVERBOLT!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow.... if this indeed "true" then Superion "might" be in the movie after all. This plane is huge. I agree with the poster above & also "hope" that this is "Silverbolt" & "hopefully" there will be "Superion" in TF 2.
ReplyDeleteLegs, arms, body with so different color themes...maybe fake?
ReplyDeleteIs definetely Superion and is a Russian Plane and Space Shuttle
ReplyDeletesee http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_G96gxvrHqrE/Sbye2pOxOyI/AAAAAAAAFVw/BWIqc5NGZVA/s1600-h/TF2TransportPlane3.jpg
and then see: http://www.buran.ru/images/jpg/bbur45.jpg
ROTF: Alliance shows that there is a military unit with the Autobots who cant fly so it stands to reason that they use military cargo planes to moves the Autobots long distances. You see the same plane in Alliance #1
ReplyDeleteDoesnt have to be a huge Autobot plane doing it.
It is more likely this is just a movie line figure.
This is probably a real toy as it would explain how all the Autobots get to Egypt. If this is real i want it!
ReplyDeleteKnow to find out who he is:
He is much larger than prime so i am guessing Omega Supreme or Silverbolt (As one of the combiners that form Superion) Then again this could be one of the transformers that make up Superion although i know Superion himself wont be in this film!
The Smaller Rocket could be Skyfire a old version similar to Jetfire. Although i am pretty sure that the Rocket doesn't transform.
Unless somebody can go out there and find all of the toys used to piece this thing together, I am calling it real.
ReplyDeleteA melvin is a wegdie...only in front...painful for a guy...
ReplyDeleteIn the "Reign of Starscream" movie prequel comic we see 2 Autobot flyers in Cybertron with Arcee... namely Skyblast & Wingblade. Who knows both might journey with her to Earth.
ReplyDeleteSo far we have 2 " possible Aerialbots members" which are Breakaway ( F-35 jet) & this big guy ( C-17 Globemaster III plane).
Check it out here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C-17_Globemaster_III
I'm not sure if the toy is a fake, but it won't be in the movie. The autobots will take a plane to Egypt, but it will be provided by the military and it won't transform. Just a movie line figure.
ReplyDeleteJudging from the picture it seems a new version of the big Aerialbot combiner that forms Superion... And there still are production pictures of Bumblebee at a plane graveyard... The Aerialbots were created giving life to human planes that the Autobots got on Earth and brought to Cybertron... So it's highly likely that Bay decided to put Superion in the movie. A much better option than having Jetfire and Optimus Prime combined.. BUT actually he could have done both... half movie with the two combined and no success in defeating Devastator nor the Fallen, the other half with Superion appearing...
ReplyDelete(joe dirt) DANNNNG!!.....CounterPunch...who knows huh?????....LOL.....maybe!!!!!!!!things r lookin up for ya!!!!! :P
ReplyDeletetq Cmacc. your good manners for once is refreshin'
ReplyDeleteOk first off he is too big to be apart of superion second he well not be omega supreme if they did omega supreme i thing bay has enough sense to do him close to what he looks like or at least built because this guy isnt like the omega supreme who know if omega supreme is in the 3rd movie i can see him being a space shuttle that they trick out when they CGI is added, but this toy does fit one character that stand out and that is SKY LINKS he was the main autobot that help the rest of the autobot travel
ReplyDeleteFFFFFFF
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAA
KKKKKKK
EEEEEEE
the plane is fake, but why do all the other transformers rotf toys suck!?! they look like they're falling (fallen XD) apart, I ain't buying that shit
ReplyDeleteI looks more like an An-124 Condor....not a C-130
ReplyDeleteI like the plane but the mini optimus....YYUUUCCCKKK
ReplyDeleteWait! There WAS a rumor that the Aerialbots could be appearing in the film with the cast.I really didn't believe it before, but now I'm starting to. This very well may be a combined Superion and they act as transport for the Autobots/military. I agree that the face does look a little strange though, and the colors don't really match...
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of that view that was captured of the tail of some type of large aircraft with the Autobot symbol on it...
ReplyDeleteon second thought, that was just a regular personal jet.
Gah! I just dug through months of rumors to find that... I just lost The Game.
This toy looks absolutely terrible. It doesn't seem to follow the same design as the other ROTF movie toys, so it's probably just a part of the toy line. It's like: "hey, look at my huge nipple and snow shoe feet." And the cockpit being on top of his head while making no attempt to hide his wings looks like something I made up when I was 6. Sorry for the rant, I just hate it when they make dumb looking characters.
ReplyDelete-Grimlock21
That would be fucking awesome if this is Omega Supreme. Like someone else said, the plane and robot is too big to be a part of Superion. Then again, you never know. I'm hoping for Omega Supreme or a part of Superion.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!!!
ReplyDeleteI CALL FAKE!
I ALSO CALLED THAT THE FALLEN WASN'T IN THE MOVIE!!
I ALSO CALLED THAT DEVASTATOR WASN'T IN THE MOVIE!!
I ALSO CALLED MEGATRON WOULDN'T BE BACK!!
SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THIS FAKE SHIT TILL YOU KNOW THE TRUTH!
Why would someone go thru the trouble of making something and having it put all over the net???
grow up he isn't fake he's in the movie.. why ELSE would they have show in the boneyard ????
His face resembles the autobot logo... hmmmm
ReplyDelete@Anonymous @ 1:10
ReplyDeleteFor sure this is not a C-130, and while it may look like the AN-124 you pointed out, I highly doubt it is, considering it is not American-made and because the Russians primarily use it and we probably will not see the Russians in this movie.
I say it's C-17 Globemaster or maybe even the C-5 Galaxy, but that's just me.
@Anonymous above me.
ReplyDeleteThe Antonov is in the Alliance Prequel TF 2 Comic as Jetstorm.
I notice less of the "Superion is definitely not in the movie, you twit" posts.
ReplyDeleteLOL....yw CP....if this guys real...too big to be "part" of Superion.......the guy above with the SkyLynx idea may have something there....atleast with the name....Superion might be pretty bad ASS....IIIIFFFFF Bay does him right....just dont know if there will be enough room or time for 2 Super bad ass combiners in the movie.....hhmmmmm...............
ReplyDeleteThings that make you go HHMMMmmmm.......oh yeah...thats right...i broke out the C&C Music Factory....all up on everybody.....

----------------------------------------------------------
Your post made me chuckle, mate! Hahahaha! The plot thickens huh? :)
First Breakaway. Now him. " If" Superion is in TF 2 I dont think he will be taller than Devastator because Prime's height is about the same length as Demolishor's head.
Its fake, there is no trandformers symbol on it...either autobot or decepticon...every other toy has it on it.
ReplyDeleteGood one Carnivac! Must be very difficult for Anon at 5:25 to spot.
ReplyDeleteMegatron's wings weren't very easy to hide either. If this Transformer is indeed in the movie, His transformation will no doubt be more complex.
ReplyDeleteCounterpunch... plot thickens indeed! Just found out I'll be out of the country June 24! Hopefully this movie will get some play in warmer, sandier areas of the world! lol
ReplyDeleteThe Optimus Prime is like a Micromaster Optimus Prime!
ReplyDelete@CubanSteel - Aye mate... I also will be overseas by the time TF 2 comes out in the cinemas...
ReplyDeletehow is there no name or box? of course it's fake.
ReplyDelete^^^^Most of the toys released didn't have a box!!!
ReplyDeleteRemember when "Sideways" was Barricade?
Get with it!!!
p.s.------------->FFF-AAA-KKK-EEE
i think its Jazz
ReplyDeleteAnonymous @ 11:49 PM
ReplyDeletelol.
Optimus' spark is transplanted into this plane. This plane then leads the autobots into victory.
ReplyDeleteWho cares if it's fake or not. There are already toys that are TF that have come out lately of very similar design.
Instead of just saying "fake" or "not fake" why do you not let time decide and stop playing ignorant! Best to just be quiet, wait, and see - alternatively, wait just for more info.
OH NO!!
ReplyDeleteThey've turned Ultra Magnus into a plane :(
Car transporter----->Cargo plane...
Hmmm.. I no like.
ReplyDeleteThe cockpit-hat looks too stupid for me to take this one seriously. If it's from the movie, I have no doubts he will look awesome, but this chap looks unbelievably stupid.
Omega Supreme would be cool, but I somehow think of Silverbolt when I see him.
From the looks and size of this, its a russian antonov 225 "mirya" only two in the world, only one which is "usable". They used it to ferry the russian space shuttle. Don't think i've ever seen a C-130 carrying another plane externally!
ReplyDeleteThe americans have done it with a 747, but this is more like the Antonov in looks, or the C-5 galaxy.
It used to be good reading on this blog... used to be some very good thoughts/ideas etc... Now all I see is fake this, fake that, fcuk him, fcuk you, blah blah blah... isn't the point of blog's for someone to air an opinion on a common interest? So wh should that person get abused for doing so!
ReplyDeleteScorpio only air's his/her views... so what if they are wrong! Who say's Scorpo isn't actually Bay himself having some fun with us and that every word thay have written has been true or someone else from the studio. We may all be being 'sample tested' for how well the movie will be received. We may be responsible for more ideas in the film than any of us realise. Just take Josh Nizzi's Long Haul for example... Bay liked it so much that he put in the film! And as for Scorpio's competition... could this be for ideas for TF3?? We don't know... none of us!
So why not let people get back to posting fun speculation which only makes us want to see the movie so much sooner!
I don't know man....Design looks like crap to me.
ReplyDeletehe'll probably be like longarm, in the movie but won't transform
ReplyDeleteI don't know man....Design looks like crap to me.
ReplyDeletePeople said the same thing about Fallen figure... Oh, and they added "FAKE!!!111" to that too...
well if you say that the design looks like crap, how about those chevy twins?? their design are more uglier especially the face but they're on the movie.
ReplyDeleteOh crap i think i figured out who he is!
ReplyDeleteVector prime! LOL
I know it isnt but because the fallen is in the film maybe Vector prime another of the thirteen original transformers is. Hopefully though it is Omega supreme or one of the Arialbots (Like i said earlier)
Also if this is a real transformer bay managed to hide he was in the film pretty well. We all saw this plane before yet no one thought it would be a transformer!
looks like the toy came from the border like the fake spider man look alike. prime looks like a toy from a kids meal repaint. and the plane is a old go-bot repaint lol go mexico
ReplyDeleteFunny that nobody thinks that stupid looking blue bike that has one wheel as a robot mode as fake as it looks mighty cheap but when this gigantic robot makes its presence known here as an Autobot counterpart to Devastator we all have to bomb the toy as being a fake??!
ReplyDeleteI'd take this character ( if he makes it into the movie ) over the 3 dumb one wheeled robots & the twins...
fake
ReplyDeleteThis Jet is the Russian AN-225. See it where with the Russian Space shuttle "Bruan". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An-225
ReplyDelete@ Carnivac - Got your point but lets give it a break aight with this Autobot... fake or not only time will tell.
ReplyDelete@Carnivac---i agree with you...this big guy could definately be awesome....his figure just looks overall shoddy...the colors are bland...all of the other transformers in the movie, whether they be auto or decept, have their own "unique" thing about them.
ReplyDeleteeither the way they "look", their color, their weapons, etc.,etc.....
This guy DOES look like a reject from a previous mold or toyline or whatever...(like the poster above mentioned)
The Prime figure is.....well....just look at it....'nuff said.
Itsfunny thathe is the only one being shown with the full sized plane...my meaning is...Prime the only one that hitches a ride with this guy??? what about BB? or Sideswipe? or the twins?? they cant 'fly' so how do they get to other countries?? Or maybe they'll release other character figures that will/could go with the Plane....)
Itsfunny thathe is the only one being shown with the full sized plane...my meaning is...Prime the only one that hitches a ride with this guy?
ReplyDeleteOh, i don't know, but maybe... OTHER LEGENDS CLASS FIGURES WILL BE ABLE GET INTO THIS PLANE?
Clearly Silverbolt.
ReplyDeleteOther legends class figures that look like this pile of crap they're "passing off" as optimus? the one they didnt even paint right or put the flames where they're supposed to go?
ReplyDeletesmells fishy!
oh yeah...how bout paying attention to everyone's FULL post before being such a DB
By the way, Charlie Adler voiced Starscream in first film and he voiced Silverbolt in Generation 1. If this is Silverbolt and if Adler will reprise Starscream's role, that might mean that he'll reprise his 14 years old role.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah...how bout paying attention to everyone's FULL post before being such a DB
ReplyDeleteI did. There is nothing much in it.
ha ha...you're right...especially the last sentence...DB!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
ReplyDeleteespecially the last sentence
ReplyDeleteMy mistake. Happens to all of us :)

ReplyDeleteBy the way, Charlie Adler voiced Starscream in first film and he voiced Silverbolt in Generation 1. If this is Silverbolt and if Adler will reprise Starscream's role, that might mean that he'll reprise his 14 years old role. <----- never knew about that. Thanx for the heads up...
It kind of works if he's in the movie that it is Silverbolt. In G1 they used frieghters from a scrapyard on Cybertron to make Superion.
ReplyDeleteThen again.. that all sort of tied into MEgatron making the Stunticons.
The Autobots made the Dinobots to combat Devastator.. Omega helped out against Devs as well.
I will say this.. That Plane on it's own is huge.
People have alluded to the mini Optimus being scale in comparison and I can tell you that it's not even close.
If you've ever seen a real Space Shuttle up close (such as the one in the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum) you'd know that you'd be able to fit Optimus in just the space shuttle part.
That plane is flippin massive.
If it's legit and he's in the movie.. I'm guessing he'll be quite a bit more bad-ass looking than the toy.
So no there's the possibility of this new big plane, jet fire (SR-71), breakaway (F-35), and springer (V-22).
I could see it being Omega too.. *shrug
You're welcome, Counterpunch. I've seen much of G1, but not all of it. But if there's anything I know about Transformers, voice actors, but not all of them.
ReplyDeleteBut rest of G1 and all from movies and Transformers: Animated
ReplyDeletei predict the twins are really the reformatted leftover pieces of Jazz.
ReplyDeleteThe tail section on the toy indicates that it's not likely the C-17. The giant russian transport matches is it much more closely in the tail sections (which does not look properly transformed to me).
ReplyDeleteThe problem is the toy has 4 jet engines and the russian transport has 6 (3 per wing).
Toys do tend to be approximations though. I'd like to see a large Autobot in the movie, but I'm guessing it won't be.
i predict the twins are really the reformatted leftover pieces of Jazz.
ReplyDeleteAnd Wheelie is made from his d***.
Relase dates of three last parts of Transformers: Destiny are released. Defiance issue 3 will be released at 18th March (Wednesday), Alliance issue 4 at 25th March and Defiance issue 4 at April 29th. ReplyDeleteThere is NO WAY 'Scorpio' is affiliated w/BAY
ReplyDeleteHE IS TOO LONG-WINDED---Bay wouldn't allow that type of person near him :)
Yeah, let's put all the Autobots in one plane, and fly it over the ocean and just make it an easy target for the Decepticons. Kill seven birds with one stone. STUPID! Think Bay! THINK!
ReplyDeleteI won't say FAKE or NOT FAKE but I do have a suggestion....
ReplyDeletemake it LARGER and turn it into a 'play area' for a huge battle scene. Instead of it carrying a CRAP Optimus it should carry F.A.B. toys.
Maybe for the third film :(
The robot mode does look AWFUL I might add!!
meh i wouldn't be surprised if they called him skylinks cuz it would serve the same purpose he did in season3 of TF:G1, altho skylinks didn't have a real robot form
ReplyDeleteYeah, let's put all the Autobots in one plane, and fly it over the ocean and just make it an easy target for the Decepticons. Kill seven birds with one stone. STUPID! Think Bay! THINK!
ReplyDeleteWho said that this TF is in the movie, and that it is Bay idea...?

Then he would be G1 Fortress Maximus toy size at least...

Scorpio says:
How do you know i am not one of Bay`s production crew who enjoys sharing knowledge with fan`s to see there reaction. Or maybe i am part of a campaign by Bay to find out what transformers you would like for the films or whether you like the designs. Remember the Megatron head change! Besides people act differently on blogs. Quiet people may be more expressive.
Replying to Simbatron:
Hummm you bring some good points into this discussion. Who knows bay might actually be on this blog right now posting and we would never know -Smiles- Also i see you mentioned my competition. I am actually surprised more people didn't enter. Well thanks for supporting me with the rudeness on this blog. Oh and by the way i am a HE just to make sure everyone knows. Even if they don't really care.
What happened to the Ice Cream Truck Transformer we saw? It was never confirmed to be a Transformer! So what does it have to do with the film?
P.s. Well done Bay for keeping this a secret all this time (If it is real) :)

Hey, so Im actually very intrigued.
ReplyDeleteThe mini-optimus figure is very much like the mini-scorpinok figure found with black out - same idea, I'd think.
Seems like a very realistic design - however, the colour scheme is probably primative and more native to an 'initial creation' and not the final print.
You, anonymous one, Ice Cream Truck is a Decepticon. There has seen Decepticon symbol in it.
ReplyDeletenow we have 3 Autobots who takes military vehicles as their alt mode.
ReplyDeleteHound
Breakaway
This big guy...
The Plane is some sort of hybrid.
ReplyDeleteTail - An-225
Fuselage & Wings - C-17A
Engines - ??
Upper Flight Deck - C-5
Drone - Reminds me of the shuttle from Armageddon.

When did i say i was on set granted i did witness a production team filming when i went on holiday but no i didn't see the ice cream truck and there is no need to be rude. I only posted that so we wouldn't have people continuously posting nothing but the fake or real dilemma.

lol at optimus, wtf

ReplyDeleteLooks like a legends class figure. I`m more confused about the Space shuttle.
he is big. bog enough to take down devistator thoguh? I heard rumors on Superion check them out...http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/Maxthecastersreviews/news/?a=6676--bb09
ReplyDeleteReplying to above!
ReplyDeleteSuperion would be cool but it seems he isn't in this film (As we know of) I would want to have Superion and Bruticus in the third film that way if Devastator is still alive there will be a huge fight between them!
